Local little league represents Idaho in Northwest regional

San Bernadino,CA--North Boise Little League or NBLL won Idaho's state little league tournament last week. NBLL star player Matt Lyon had this to say, "Last year everyone knows that we were so close from the state championship. And everyone knows that I gave up the game winning hit in the 7th inning too. But know that is behind us and this year we got it. It was a great feeling throwing a 2-hitter in the state championship game. But now this is tougher. These are the state champions. These are the best in the NW."

NBLL is in Pool A with East Oregon, Alaska, and Montana. In Pool B there is West Oregon, East Washington, Wyoming, and West Washington. NBLL plays East Oregon on Monday at 6:00PM.

West Oregon @ Wyoming
East Washington @ West Washington

San Bernadino,CA- Power was the story today. A combined 5 homeruns were hit. T.Cook, M.Flores, T.Wright, B.Thompson, and M.Lyon hit them. Flores, Wright, and Thompson had back-to-back-to-back shots in the 4th inning. Idaho went onto beat East Oregon 8-0. M.Lyon pitched 4 shutout innings. With the rules, he is allowed to be eligible to pitch in the 5th inning in tommorows game. J.Ross pitched the last 2 innings in fridays game. Lyon got the win.

Idaho plays Alaska Saturday.
