I have been trying different sliders. I'm currently in spring training or what I like to call it, "slider training." I am using Amour and Swords sliders with veteran hitting and all-star pitching with the exception of pulse pitching instead of classic.

Ryan Braun impresses in Brewers season opener after testing positive for PEDs last year

Milwaukee, WI -- Ryan Braun has a lot to prove this season. After winning the NL MVP last year the young superstar tested positive for performance enhancing drugs. Braun claimed it was due to a medicine he was taken and MLB officials seemed to agree but the microscope will still be on him this year.

Ryan Braun went 3-4 for 2 doubles but couldn't get across the plate. However, his hitting prowess would put pressure on the Cardinal pitchers leading to their demise.

St. Louis grabbed an early lead after third baseman David Freese hit a grounder that bounced off Rickie Week's glove, bringing Lance Berkman.

Milwaukee would answer right back after Mat Gamel hit a line shot down the line for a double scoring Corey Hart.

Nyjer Morgan hit a sacrifice to Matt Holliday in the bottom of the 5th bringing in Alex Gonzalez for the game winning run. Both teams would be shut out for the rest of the game and Milwaukee would end up with the advantage.

Adam Wainwright went 6 innings giving up 8 hits and 2 runs with 2 strikeouts as he gained the loss in the tightly contested battle.

Zach Greinke thew for 7 innings giving up 7 hits and 1 run while striking out 5. John Axford grabbed the save by shutting out the Cardinals in the 9th for his first save of the year.
