An Atlanta Braves Franchise (MLB 12: The Show)

LAS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The Braves bats led by Brian McCann's 3 homerun game finally came to life as they were able to put up 16 hits and 8 runs in the 13 inning series opening game against the Dodgers. Luis Durago was called up for the Braves to hopefully give the lineup some spark and he succeeded as he went 3/5 in his Major League debut. The Braves also earned their first back to back wins for the season and look to keep the streak alive as Jair Jurjens will face off against Ted Lilly in game 2 of the 3 game series.

ATLANTA, GEORGIA: In a game that the Braves were hoping to get back on track and avoid another 3 game slide, they just couldn't quite pull through. Prado hit a solo homerun in the bottom of the 9th with two outs to tie the game and send it to extra innings. When the Pirates were able to put a run across in the top of the 10th, Dan Uggla was able to return the favor with a solo shot of his own in the bottom of the 10th.

The Pirates were able to put across 2 more runs in the top of the 11th as the bullpen struggling ways continued. The Braves threatened in the bottom half of the inning and even put across one run in the bottom of the 11th and left runners at the corner to get another loss on the year.

ATLANTA, GEORGIA: The Braves dropped games 2 and 3 of the 4 game series to the Pirates to put them on a 5 game losing streak. The bullpen has been disastrous this series blowing close games in all 3 games. The offense is on a steady beat but now the pitching is having some setbacks. Atlanta will look to pull it together for the final game of the series and their final game of April.

ATLANTA, GEORGIA: Jair Jurjjens couldn't have pitched a more perfect game for the Braves allowing only 3 hits in his 7 innings of work but the Braves continued to miss out on early opportunities as they lost their 6th straight game and ended April with not only a loss, but would have to deal with being swept by the Pirates in a 4 game series.
