Garza Placed On 15 Day DL After Shoulder Injury:

Chicago, IL – The Chicago Cubs have placed Matt Garza on the 15 day disabled list with Shoulder Inflammation in his throwing shoulder. Garza injured his shoulder in the 7th inning against the Cardinals in the Cubs 3-0 victory in game one of their latest series.

Randy Wells has been called up to the majors from Triple A Iowa after going 2-0 with a 0.77 ERA. Wells will make his season debut against the Phillies.
