Game 163:Angels

The Texas Rangers hosted the Los Angeles Angels today in the final game of the season as both teams knew what was at stake. Win and the division is yours. The Angels marched out former Ranger C.J. Wilson while the Rangers went with Yu Darvish.

Wilson showed his former squad why they should have kept him as he pitched a complete game today sending the Rangers home for the winter and the Angels into the playoffs with the win.

Rough way to not get in the playoffs there. Hopefully the offseason and next year lead to a better result.

Re: Chasing That Ring Texas Rangers Franchise (The Show)

Win and you're in, lose and you go home. That is tough. Looks like C.J. came in and pitched his best when it mattered. Hopefully you can get into the playoffs next year, because you've got a good team.

It also surprised me that Pittsburgh made the playoffs, and it looks like former Cub and rule-5 draft pick Ryan Flaherty had himself a pretty good year too. Can't wait to see next season, good luck!
