Simulated to the current day, and played up a few games. Called up John Lamb, an A pitching prospect for a spot start over Bruce Chen who has been struggling.

The lineup he faced was the following:

The game favored Lamb, as in his rookie debut he pitched a solid game. Looking for more starts from this youngster.

Lamb couldn't win if it wasn't for offense, and Hosmer hit his 17th bomb of the year.

The rookie posted the Folliowing stats in his debut.

Overall, here is how my Royals stack up in the league and the stats so far.
I am disappointed with how I am hitting with Butler and Francoeur, but I am really happy how Moustakas, Perez, Hosmer, and Kalhoun have stepped up to pick up the slack.

The following pic shows the stats of the hitters, highlighted by the standouts.

Re: A Kansas City Royals Franchise - A Rise to The Top

Overall, my pitching is great. Even if the players Win/Loss isn't great, most ERA are decent and I have pitched well with all of them. Sanchez is having a Phenomenal year, Chen is struggling, and Garza is doing okay. Looking for more productivity out of him. Danny Duffy is having an okay year, and will stay in the majors. Hochevar is also throwing gems.

My bullpen is lacking. Mijares is doing well, Jeffress is doing great, but I struggle a bit with Crow. Broxton is... Broxton. My closer in Triple A is on fire right now, and I may bring him up as a set-up man and maybe if he does well I can close a few games with him.

Re: A Kansas City Royals Franchise - A Rise to The Top

I have some young prospects lighting it up in the Minors. I am thinking about Sending Bubba Starling Down for a little. He is doing okay in AAA, but I don't want to rush him. He is raw and can be a stud someday.

Overall, I am leading the AL Central.

Stay tuned!
