Franchise Direction and Settings

This is a sort of combination of normal franchise and RTTS. I'm assuming the role of just one player in this franchise world. I will be simming the pitching and letting the CPU control all other batters. I am manually controlling him only when he is at bat. Everything else will be set to auto, so I will have no control over lineups, roster moves, drafts, and etc. I'm hoping to get through the season pretty quickly and I'll up-date pretty regular as important events happen (through the players eyes). My updates will be photo and quote based.

This is a 2012 photo diary seen through the eyes of Houston Astros 3B Chris Johnson. I wanted to pick a player that has an interesting story line, and Johnson seemed like the perfect candidate. He has been named the starting 3B for 2012, but the team has drafted a stud SS/3B with their first pick that everyone thinks will be the future. Chris has at least a full season before the "the future" will be considered to be called up, and potentially take his job away. The time is now for Johnson! He needs to show his manager and the Astros fan base that he belongs!

Chris you have to get your strike outs down. That all starts with swinging at strikes early in the count and having a good 2 strike approach. Be more selective early in the count and work on driving pitches out of over the plate, I know that's where you like them. Then use your contact swing on 2 strikes. Think slider with 2 strikes man...
