Normally the BoSox wouldn't be an intriguing situation, but they have some rebounding to do. I'll definitely be following. Good luck!

Red Sox beat PawSox in "Majors vs Minors" matchup

The Boston version of the Red Sox beat Pawtucket at Fenway in one of their 3 pre- Spring Training exhibition match ups. The matchup was De La Rosa for Pawtucket and Felix Doubront for Boston. De La Rosa went 5 innings on 9 strikeouts and 4 runs. His counterpart went 5.1 innings on 5 Ks and 4 runs. Manager John Farrell said this of minor league pitcher Rubby De La Rosa "He showed great maturity thruout the game. I can't wait for him to be in my dugout this spring, because if he has another performance like this, I'm gonna have to talk Ben into keeping him in Boston. David Ortiz was the MVP of the game and the Boston Red Sox going 3-5 with 4 RBI, and a triple shy of the cycle. The final score was 7-6, as it was a shockingly back and forth game. Drew Sutton led Pawtucket to 2 RBIs and a run while going 3-4. "I can't wait to see our talent this year as it should be fun to manage this team, especially later in the AAA year when Bogaerts will be called up" said Pawtucket manager Gary DiSarcina "Then the real fun starts". The Red Sox will head to JetBlue at Fenway south to face The Boston College Eagles next.

Re: Comeback Kings?: A Crimson Hose Dynasty

The dynasty will start approx. 1-2 days after the release of OSFM. This is due to personal edits. I will make a storyline leading up to just before the Spring.

Red Sox Officially Announce ST Invitees

The Red Sox today officially announced the 2013 Spring Training Invitee list. On the list is top prospects Xander Bogaerts and Jackie Bradley Jr. Also on the list is Allen Webster, who will be going to his first Red Sox game. Along with the usual MLB Red Sox stars, are players making their debut for the BoSox. Mike Napoli will now be destroying balls over the monster WITH the Sox instead of against, as he is a 1B. Shane Victorino will also be a new member along with Ryan Dempster and Stephen Drew. The list of impact players is listed above. Mauro Gomez, Ryan Sweeney, and Jose Iglesias all got late invitations and will be heading to Ft. Meyers. The Red Sox only have 38 people attending camp so far, so I expect to see those 2 come from free agency or trade. To see a full Spring Training roster/Depth chart, go to our Red Sox news section.

Re: Comeback Kings?: A Crimson Hose Dynasty

Well, it's tht time of the year again. It's the time of year when the all positions report to spring. The time of year when pre-spring exhibition games start. The time of year when the Yankees slowly watch and yell at CC for showing up weighing 20 lbs. more than before. It's Spring! OSFM rosters are out, and when I finish the personal edits, the Spring will start.
