Iglesias did good this game, as he scored the only Red Sox RBI. Bradley would score in extras on a wieters botched ball. Technically, this is a tie game...

This was a very back and forth game. It started out as a blowout, at one point 4-0. But a three run 6th would help us out a little. Jim Johnson comes into the ninth only to let up a game tying run. But Matt Wieters came in to save the day. We need another win! 2-2 on the Spring.

The 3rd user played game of the year. We played our well known rivals, the Yankees. The Yankees have obvious age issues, but that doesn't mean talent issues. Ortiz would be our man today, with 2 RBIs, and a double. He went 3-4 on 2 doubles and a single. Napoli would score his second home run of the year to seal the deal. Cano would be the only RBI guy for the Yankees as he scored one on a sacrifice fly. We are now 5-3. Another note, in 6 IP, Clay Buccholz hasn't let up a run yet.

Well there it is! The last user played game of the year. Now that I've got that out of the way, I will have a Spring Recap out soon. It will include stats, send downs, progress, and lineup/rotations.

Spring Recap

We would go on to finish 18-10. Good enough for third in the Grapefruit League. We had many transactions this spring. As well as send downs. Here are the lists...

Acquisitions- our key to the offseason was acquisitions. Here are a few...
Dallas Braden-1 year/3.10mm a year. He could give us that number 5 role, as Lackey was sent down.

Chris Leroux for cash- he should be our MRP guy, gives us some better depth at pitching. He was designated for assignment by the Pirates, so the Sox took him in.

Traded John Lackey for sack of potatoes- They were really good.

Send Downs- We have to send down 15 men. Jordan Lyles, Ruby De LaRosa, Allen Webster, Steven Wright, Vazquez, Brentz, Lavarnway, Brock Holt, Xander Bogaerts, Jose Iglesias, John Lackey, Ryan Kalish, and 2 other guys That are unconfirmed.
