Cubs End Spring Training 10-15

The Cubs officially ended their 2013 Spring Training on Friday, losing 0-7 to the Seattle Mariners. The Cubs know that it will be a few years before they can compete, but they did do good in Spring Training. Starling Castro got on base 24 times out of 75 at bats. Rizzo also rocked Spring Training by hitting .350 and blasting 5 for homeruns. Alfonso soriano blasted 7 homeruns during Spring Training, can he repeat last years performance? Nate Shierholtz only hit .161 and got on base a total of 9 times out of 56 at bats (Yikes!) Scott Hairston only hit .224 so it will defiantly be a tough year in Right Field this year. Castillo hit .339 and turned in 4 homeruns putting in a good performance. Lillibridge hit .333 also posting a good batting average. Below will be the final roster results heading into the Regular Season!
