What if the Marlins Never Sucked? - MLB 12 The Show

Everyone knows what happened to the Miami Marlins. They decided to go big or go home in the 2011-2012 offseason by acquiring players such as Jose Reyes, Mark Buehrle, Heath Bell, and Carlos Zambrano. They were everyone's favorite team in the preseason. They looked great on paper but on the field the team struggled and traded away Hanley Ramirez, Jose Reyes, Mark Buehrle, Josh Johnson, Omar Infante, and Anibal Sanchez. This dynasty thread will take you back to the start of the 2012 season, before they had a fire sale and traded everyone not named Giancarlo, before the Marlins sucked.

Re: What if the Marlins Never Sucked? - MLB 12 The Show

I've never done a baseball dynasty on here before. I don't really want to play many games until later into the year. Do you think I should do an occasional box score and then a monthly recap?

I vote monthly recap, or take a look at my thread. I don't use box scores, but instead just give quick game recaps for the entire series, you can post a lot of games pretty quick, and then at the end of the month, still post a monthly post with standings, and stats, ect.....

My only question with this, is If your team performers horribly will you end up trading those guy's too.. Looks like a ton of payroll there.

I would say a weekly or bi-weekly recap. That way it's a decent amount of info to write up but not an overwhelming amount of info like a monthy recap would have.
