Is a 5 year plan too ambitious? Let me know what you think in the poll.

Well, it may not be exactly 5 years, but it's worked for the Huntington regime in Pittsburgh.

2013 Recap

DL List 2013.jpg
Jose Altuve starts the season off on the 60 day DL.

With the season pretty much over for the 'Stros, a couple of trades are made:

both trades in one.jpg

Bedard is shipped to the Mets for reliever Rob Carson
Carlos Pena, enjoying a comeback year, is traded to the Yanks (in a playoff push) for top CF prospect Slade Heathcott. Prospect Delino Deshields (B POT) and Jose Valdez also head to New York while reliever Mark Montgomery joins the Astros in Houston.

2013 Record.jpg
Ultimately, Houston finishes with another losing record, good for last in the AL West.

Bud Norris, however, is a bright spot. He looks to have solidified himself as the ace of the staff.
