Coach Steve Peterson has announced that freshman pitcher Chad Coley has been suspended for two contests by the athletic department for failure to report his academic progress report to the team's eligibility officer. His suspension will begin immediately. He will miss next week's Arizona State series.

So far this season, Coley has underperformed in his four appearances; totaling 3.2 innings with a 17.18 ERA with just 1 strikeout and 7 walks with one victory against the University of Pacific.
