Re: A Fictional History of Baseball - 1871 - Present (OOTP 17)
Blue Stockings Fold, Senators Move Back to Chicago The National Association announced that the Brooklyn Blue Stockings would fold after just one season due to financial issues. All Blue Stockings players will become free agents and will have the opportunity to sign with other NA teams. In other news, the Washington Senators franchise finally reached an agreement on a place to play in their native Chicago. They'll be moving back to Chicago and re-adopting the Athletes moniker after two seasons in Washington as the Senators. |
