Re: Go Time: An Oakland Athletic Franchise

Got hit with some actual work, hopefully will have all my unfinished posts all caught up tomorrow! Maybe even some news.

I will be doing a slow burn franchise until the season starts. So like for example there will be two real days of Kenley rumors and on the third real day he will sign.

I don't really want to rush anything, so if it isn't your thing that's okay! You can come check it out again when the games get started

Hearing there are two suitors for the services of Fowler and Blackmon, deals could happen at any time

Rockies are heavily involved in adding one of Trumbo or EE, would have to think Blackmon or Cargo are out

BREAKING NEWS:

The Colorado Rockies have announced the signing of 1B, Edwin Encarnacion, to a five year contract with an average yearly value of twenty-four point eight million dollars. So in rough estimate the deal is 5 years worth 124 million dollars, and it also include a full no-trade clause except to one team, and that being the Toronto Blue Jays.

In a corresponding move, the Colorado Rockies have agreed to trade centerfielder, Charlie Blackmon, to the St. Louis Cardinals in exchange for Michael Wacha and Jack Flaherty.

To Cardinals:

To Rockies:

Word throughout the industry that the Dodgers are getting closer on bringing back Justin Turner on a multi-year deal.

The Nationals are making a strong push for an all-star closer, Jansen and Holland are both on the radar, as well as players like Huston Street and Alex Colome. Dodgers won't let Jansen go without a fight.

BREAKING NEWS:

Quote:
It's official, the Los Angeles Dodgers have brought back Justin Turner to a four year sixty-three million dollar deal. They got close last night, but the signature came in fresh this morning.
Quote:
The Dodgers have ramped up talks with closing pitcher Kenley Jansen in hopes to keep the band back together, with the Nationals being the only true competition.
