Statment from Tigers' GM regarding state of rebuild and plan going forward.

"We are thrilled with all the great young talent we have bought in so far in players such as SP Ross Stripling, SP Luke Weaver, SP Trevor Williams, 1B Trey Mancini, 2B Max Moroff, 3B Rio Ruiz, SS Gavin Cecchini, LF Brandon Nimmo, and RF Yasiel Puig. I know some people are questing why I included trading for veterans such as SP Mike Leake, SP Scott Kazmir, SP Ubaldo Jimenez, RP Brett Cecil, CP Sergio Romo, 1B/DH Chris Davis, 2B Josh Harrison, and CF Brett Gardner. So let me clarify why I did that. In acquiring those veteran players along with the youngsters listed above, I have added him more potential trade bait in the form of those veteran players. In conclusion, as we feel it would be in our best interest, we plan to have the rebuild complete and all potential trading done and completed by the end of Spring Training and the start of the regular season, as we wish to let our now your core in both the starting rotation and starting lineup play and grow together"-Statement from Tigers' GM Robert Osmond
