I don't care about ratings. For example Brock Stassi batted under .200 in the beginning of the season so I sent him down. Then he batted over .400 in AAA so I called him back up and now he's around .250 for the season. Mainly if you're killing it I'll try and find a place for you at the next level. Also injuries. If someone gets hurts and goes on the DL I'll bring someone up to replace him on the roster. Like Alfaro was placed on the DL and I called up Knapp to be the backup to Rupp who replaced him. The last thing I consider is age. This is more for the lower levels but I'm more likely to call up a 24 year old than a 19 year old. Performance, need, and age are what I consider. Just trying to keep it realistic.
Awesome, ty, makes sense. Finally, once you do call up a prospect, if they are struggling how long before you send him back down? I had a c who came in at 19, 93 potential and 74 ovl. Through April he's batti g .192. When should I send him to aaa?

At 19 you don't want to just bench him. You want him to get his cuts. But that .192 average is just killing your lineup. Best thing to do is to just send him down and figure it out in AAA. Better to kill your AAA lineups than your majors. But make sure you wait till he's ready to be called back up cause you don't want to waste his options. As for how long you wait. You just have to feel it out. I usually wait a week or two after they start struggling to see if they can break out of it themselves before I make a move

Ok male sense I'll send him down and give him a month and see how he does. I would assume he still develops in Aaa right

Ok I'll do that. Thanks again, sorry to hijack your thread. I just see these guys and I get over eager. I think pitchers are the hardest. For young guys I'll give them 5 games and if their era is higher than 6 they going back down. That's why I love this game though, so in depth.
