Penn A&T sweeps Houston after Game Two Eruption
Summary
Game One
Penn A&T got the lead early and never surrendered it. They nabbed a run in the second on a throwing error on a stolen base. Ryan McCarthy stole second and the catchers throw went in between the LF and CF, allowing McCarthy to score. In the fourth, they added on three more runs. Seth Storm drove in McCarthy with a single and then Chris Carney knocked in two with a single to the field field. Houston would do their best in the final four innings to make a comeback, pulling within one. RBI doubles in the sixth and seventh scored two runs and an RBI single gave the Cougars their third run before the Penn A&T bullpen shut the door.
Game Two
The Dutchmen left the locker room with a fire up their a$$ and scored five runs in the first frame on 6 hits, including three doubles that drove in runs. The bats stayed hot the entire game for the hosts. Mason Hagan continued his tear, going 3 for 3 with three RBI , including his second home runs of the year. Seth Storm also clubbed his first long ball of the season. Hagan, Storm, Vince Santoro, Harrison Probst, and Chris Carney all registered at least two hits. This is the first sweep in Penn A&T history.

Love the football dynasty but man, I miss this game! I'll be following along for sure!
I appreciate that my man! I'm having a blast with both right now. In year's past I would have had a hard time enjoying even one of them now I have two that I'm enjoying haha all about the balance.

Dutchmen can't put it together with the bats, drop two to Louisville Summary
Game 1: Despite starter Brian Dunham being forced to leave in the third for an injury, Louisville completely silenced the Penn A&T bats that seemed to picking up steam after the Houston series. The Dutchmen were limited to just two hits. The Cardinals picked up two in the second and third but Penn A&T starter Ashton Reed settled in from there to go seven strong. Louisville was quite until the top of the ninth when they got to reliever Carter Chisham who gave up four runs on four hits in only .1 of an inning. Penn A&T also got some more bad news. In the third inning, shortstop Rafa Martinez suffered a strained right hip flexor making a diving play and will be out for at least 2-to-3 weeks. It is expected freshman Kevin Zitel will take his place, however the lineup will need shifted around.
Game 2: Penn A&T made some lineup changes for the rain delayed second game. In some cases it helped, in some it didn't. After falling down 3-0 in the fourth, the Dutchmen had an opportunity in their half but left two in scoring position. They eventually cracked the board in the left two runners in scoring position in the bottom of the fifth on a Kevin Zitel RBI single. They really broke through in their next chance, plating three. Ryan McCarthy roped an RBI single to deep right that scored two and gave Penn A&T the 4-3 lead in the sixth. Louisville would go onto tie it up in their last chance before winning it in extras. Dante Giavedoni put in a quality start, fanning five in eight frames, while allowing three earned runs.
