USBL | A Fictional Professional Baseball League | OOTP 19

I tried this same fictional league concept with NBA 2K17... But sadly, at least on my PS4, MyLeague couldn't really handle a league filled with nothing but fictional teams, arenas, and players because my save file kept getting corrupted.

With OOTP 19, it's literally a game mode to create your own fictional league... So surely I shouldn't have this problem on OOTP.

ABOUT THE FRANCHISE

This Franchise is going to revolve around the United States Baseball League (USBL) and we'll just assume that the MLB became defunct so the USBL is the primary Professional League in the U.S. I'm going to start the Franchise in the year 1930. There will be 16 teams to start with and I'll kind of follow how the MLB had expansion teams/relocated teams.

The 16 teams are based out of the biggest cities in the United States according to a 1930 census website. I will control one team (which I'll mention later). These teams will play out of real life stadiums. So, the Boston team will play at Fenway Park, a New York team play at the legendary Polo Grounds, etc.

I'll post monthly updates for the league as I believe anything more than that would become too much to handle as we advance through the Franchise and add more ball clubs to the league.

I also want to keep a record of the history of the USBL. So, once we get deeper in this Franchise, I'll start giving interesting stats from the early years of the USBL. I'd like to keep track of records and history on the first page of this thread. But, if it becomes too much, I'll create a public Google Docs/Google Sheets file and post the link which will have all the records and history.

USBL CHANGES FROM HOW THE MLB WAS IN 1930

There will be 25 man rosters in this league. There will be a full Minor League Farm System along with an Amateur Draft in June. There will also be an All-Star game. I will give out awards and eventually, some will be named after the best players in this league. But for now, the Cy Young Award will be known by another name.
