We couldn’t get the series sweep but we still came out taking 2 of 3 from a divisional foe. Scott Lindsey’s 18 game hitting streak came to an end today.

We took the first game in the series from the Mariners.

Another solid performance out of our pitching staff helps us get the win.

We completed the series sweep against the Mariners with the win today. Triston McKenzie extended his scoreless inning streak to 25 innings as his ERA has dropped nearly 2 runs since his thumping at the hands of those dreaded Red Sox.

In our first interleague game of the year, we came out on top against the Nationals.

Talk about an offensive explosion. This was our top run total of the year and a combined shutout to boot. Judge, Jones, and Huerta hit back to back to back homeruns as well!

Our offense continues to be hot with another drubbing of the Nationals to complete the series sweep.

We had a 5-3 lead going into the 8th and Dustin Moore blew that lead. We decided to leave him in and we had the score tied at 6-6 going into the bottom of the 9th. Lindor lead off the inning with a walk and Aaron Judge was hit by the first pitch he saw (probably on purpose, he did hit 2 homeruns in the game already). We pinch ran for Lindor with Scott Lindsey, who had the day off. Nolan Jones came to the plate and on a 2-1 fastball, hit a single to left scoring Lindsey just ahead of the tag.

Our hitters that struggled during April are finally starting to heat up. Judge and Prather are both on hot streaks right now and even Pauson and Harley are starting to get the averages up to a respectable number.

On the opposite side of things, since Scott Lindsey’s hitting streak came to an end, he has had some struggles. He hasn’t gone cold but is currently on a down swing.
