How is OOTP 20? I heard good things and was thinking about buying it after the holidays.

Up until this year I had been pretty much only MLB The Show gamer. This game is a steal at $5 (on sale till January 2nd I believe), even though new version will be coming out in 3-4 months. But if you want to dip your toes in OOTP and sim games, it's a great time to do it. It's awesome being albe to create any team you want and do expansion or historical league or whatever floats your boat. It's extremely wide open. There's even quite a few online leagues you can get into if you want to test your GM skills against others. Some of those are historical leagues, some are modern day MLB and some are completely fictional.

But if interested I'd take a chance at $5.

MILWAUKEE, WI --- The Rivermen are in the middle of 22 games in a row. The latest two took them to Milwaukee to take on the Brewers. Unfortunately not only did they lose the game on Tuesday, they lost SP Jacob Nix for 3-4 weeks. The Rivermen have brought up 27 year old Michael Fulmer to replace Nix.

Rivermen split 2 games series with Pirates
PITTSBURGH, PA --- The Rivermen lose game 1 to the Pirates 9-3. And in the process lost SP Michael Fulmer for 2 weeks due to Elbow inflammation. Fulmer was just called up to replace injured SP Jacob Nix. This was his first game since being called up and he lasted 1/3 of a inning.

LOS ANGELES, CA --- For any Rivermen fans that stayed up late to catch the west coast series, it wasn't worth the lost sleep. Louisville lost 2 of 3 in the City of Angels.

The Rivermen won game one, 3-0, with starter Daniel Norris pitching 7 shutout innings. 27 year old third baseman Kaleb Cowart hit his 8th homerun of the season in the 9th inning off J. Kelly. LF Mark Canha scored the 2 other runs to give the Rivermen the 3-0 win.

Games 2 and 3 weren't' as good for the Rivermen. Losing game 2, 7-3.

And game 3 was a 9-8 extra inning affair.
