GONZAGA LANDS HIGH SCHOOL ALL-AMERICAN
#24 OVERALL PROSPECT ANDREW GOSLEY STAYS HOME

SPOKANE, WA -- Gonzaga made headlines during the early signing period getting a commitment from 5-star recruit Andrew Gosley, who lives in Seattle, Washington. The high school All-American's recruitment came down to the wire, with Gonzaga, Washington, and Oregon each offering a scholarship. Washington led the way for most of the season, but fresh off a thrilling victory over Pacific, Gonzaga and coach Lung were able to sway the 6'3" shooting guard (#24 SG in the Nation).

"It's exciting to see some of the top dogs wanting to play for us," said coach Lung. "I knew we had a solid shot to land Andrew after his campus visit. He just seemed to be comfortable and knowing that he could come in next year and make an impact right away was very important. That definitely excited him."

Gosley is the first 5-star recruit to sign with coach Lung, but hopefully will be the first of many to come. With Donny Whitted graduating after this season, Andrew will be able to slot right into the starting lineup as a true freshman.

Pretty nice when you can still win a game shooting 21% from deep on 23 attempts.


Also always a good deal when you can snag a 5* Recruit away from Oregon and UW. Have to say though I am getting tired of losing recruits to Gonzaga in my Boise State legacy..

On point dude, we were just lucky we weren't playing a better team because we would've lost for sure. We live and die with the 3 with Lung as coach and with the shooters we currently have. I was so stoked to see him sign with us, as we were #2 on his list heading into the early signing period. I'm sure soon enough it will be the other way around with the Zags lol. Thanks for checking in guys! I'm having a blast with this dynasty and these sliders i've been using have been a challenge but a lot of fun.
