The Friars just could not handle the Louisville press or size in the front-court and got blown out on the home-court, 85-65.

Samuels led Louisville with 40 points and 17 rebounds, while Buckles and Siva each added 17 points for the Cardinals.

Duke Mondy led the Friars with 21 points and 9 rebounds.

The Friars (11-3, 1-1) will stay at home to face #7 Villanova (12-1, 2-0) on 1/7.

For the second straight game, the Friars did not show up and got murdered at home, 74-53, this time at the hands of Villanova.

Stokes led Villanova with 23 points, and Yarou added 17 points and 19 rebounds.

Brooks led the Friars with only 19 points.

The Friars (11-4, 1-2) will play their fourth of six straight home games as they take on #11 Georgetown (12-2, 2-1) on 1/10.

The Friars are seemingly playing themselves out of NCAA Tournament contention with a 66-57 loss to the Georgetown Hoyas at home.

Thompson led the Hoyas with 29 points and 7 rebounds.

The Friars were paced by the 22 points of Marshon Brooks.

The Friars (11-5, 1-3) will host West Virginia (8-4, 0-1) on 1/13.

The Friars jumped out to a 10-0 lead and never looked back as they went on to beat West Virginia, 92-60.

Brooks led the Friars with 41 points, and Bilal Dixon added 12 points and 16 rebounds.

Jones paced West Virginia with 24 points and 15 rebounds.

The Friars (12-5, 2-3) will have one more at home when they face #17 Syracuse (11-4, 2-2) on 1/15.

The Friars faced another crushing defeat at home, this time falling to the Orange, 83-57.

Flowers led the Orange with 18 points, and Gawkins added 17.

Peterson, Mondy, and Brooks each had 12 points for the Friars.

The Friars (12-6, 2-4) will go on the road and face the Pittsburgh Panthers (11-6, 3-3) on 1/17.

The Friars used a balanced attack to take on Pitt on the road, 74-43.

Greedy Peterson had 18 points and 11 rebounds, and Marshon Brooks added 17 points.

Gibbs led Pittsburgh with 16 points.

The Friars (13-6, 3-4) will stay on the road where the will face the Seton Hall Pirates (9-8, 1-5) on 1/20.

The Friars held a 17 point lead in the first half, but Seton Hall tied the game up late in the second half and sent this one into overtime, tied at 71.

In a back and forth overtime, the Friars found themselves down 78-75 with 41 seconds left, but a Greedy Peterson 3 at the buzzer rimmed out and the Friars suffered another awful defeat, 78-75.

Sparks led the Pirates with 24 points, while Theodore added 14 for SH.

Duke Mondy led the Friars with 20 points, and Marshon Brooks added 15 in the loss.

The Friars (13-7, 3-5) have a RARE back-to-back Big East game as they travel home to face Cincinnati (10-6, 2-3) tomorrow.

The Friars shot 34% from the floor and got embarrassed again, 61-50 by the Bearcats from Cincinnati.

Stephenson led Cincinnati with 18 points, and Dixon added 13 of his own.

Brooks led Providence with 17 points.

The Friars (13-8, 3-6) will get 10 days off before they travel to #12 UCONN (17-3, 7-2) on 1/31.
