NBA APPROVES SELL OF THE T'WOLVES

Billionare Casino Owner Sheldeon Addison has purchased the Minnesota T'Wolves and has petitioned the NBA to allow him to move the team to Las Vegas and be renamed the "Vipers". This was not the only team sold this summer as the Washington Wizards were also sold to Sergrey Brin the Founder of Google. Brin has already asked permission to relocate the Wizards to San Diego renaming the team the "Typhoon"

All players currently under contract with both teams will remain with the teams but both Owners said to expect changes in the near future from the Top of the Orginization down...

NBA ANNOUCNES CONFERENCE REALIGNMENT

With the approved sell's of the T'Wolves and Wizards and the approval of both teams being relocated the NBA has announced that they will make a few adjustments to the several divisons shaking up both conferences.

The Memphis Grizzlies will move to the Southeast and replace the Wizards, well the Okalahoma City Thunder will replace the Grizzlies in the Southwest. The San Diego Typhoon (Former Washington Wizards) will replace the the Phoniex Sun in the Pacific Division and both the Suns and the newly formed Las Vegas Vipers will play in the Northwest Division.

I feel that the current roster gives us flexibilty to bring in key guys very early and believe that with the right set up guy's we should have no issues playing in what many like to call "Sin City" "

VIPERS ANNOUNCE LOGO AND COACHING HIRE'S

Owner Sheldon Allison "I am pleased to annouce that I have hired Bryan Young to act as my GM and Head Coach. Mr Young has had success at the college level building up programs on the West Coast (Eastern Washington,Boise State, UCLA,Loyola Marymount, Cal State Northridge, Gonzaga) as well as the Midwest (Saint Louis and Iowa)."

I have always dream of coaching in the NBA and to be able to add GM to my role will allow me to develope my roster into the type of players I want playing for me. I plan on trading early and often. RUBIO SIGNS WITH VIPERS

GM/Head Coach Bryan Young has announced that the Vipers have come to terms with PG Ricky Rubio. Rubio was orginally drafted by the T'Wolves but was under contract in Spain. It is believed that Rubio contract is for 3 years and worth as much as 18.91 Million.

VIPERS AQUIRE BLAZER'S 1ST ROUND PICK

With the signing of Rubio, Mr Young has also made his 1st trade.

The Vipers will send Rookie PG Johnny Flynn,B. Cardinal and R. Hollins to the Portland Trailblazers in exchange for Rookies Patty Mills and Jeff Pendergraph as well as Travis Diener and the Blazers 1st Round pick.

VIPERS OPEN SEASON WITH A WIN

The Vipers are very young with a starting rotation of

SG-Wayne Ellington
SF-Corey Brewer
PF-Kevin Love
C-Al Jefferson

but that wouldn't stop them from picking up their 1st win of the season (88-85) over the Sacremento Kings. There is a bitter rivalary with the Owners of these 2 teams as the Kings are owned by the Maloof Family who also own casino property in Vegas.

The Vipers success however would be short lived as they go just 5-10 in the month of November causing a wave of trades from Mr Young.

With the team struggling early, GM/Coach Bryan Young was busy working the phones and was successfull in making several more trades.

VIPERS ACQUIRE 2 MORE 1ST ROUND PICKS

With the addition of Ricky Rubio and Patty Mills at the point, Vetern R. Sessions was deemed tradeable and was delt to the Atlanta Hawks for a 1st Round Pick in 2010 and a 2nd Round pick in 2011.

With the Corey Brewer playing well at SF, Mr Young aslo dealt Ryan Gomes to the Los Angles Lakers for Adam Morrison and the Lakers 1st Round pick in 2011.

However Mr Young was not finished yet as he dealt backup SG S. Pavloic to the New Jersery Nets for T. Hassell and the Nets 2010 2nd Round Selection.

LAS VEGAS

The Vipers continue to struggle as they go 14-31 to close out the 2009 Calender Year. However not all news is bad in the City of Sin as Al Jefferson has taken to his new home and is playing at a All-Star level Avg 21.5 PPG and 9.1 RPG. Ricky Rubio has also made a smooth transistion to the NBA game Avg 11.1 PPG and 7.9 APG. Well Kevin Love is also playing well in his Soph campaign Avg 9.1 PPG and 9.0 RPG.

However with Wayne Ellington and Corey Brewer struggling with the amount of minutes they are playing GM/Coach Bryan Young has once again been busy working the phones.

VIPERS DEAL PENDERGRAPH AND 2ND ROUND PICK FOR JOE ALEXANDER

The Vipers made a key move this week picking up Joe Alexander in a 3 way trade with the Bucks and Bulls.

The Bulls traded J. Salmons to the Bucks for Alexander and H. Warrick, the Bulls then traded Alexander for Pendergraph and the Vipers 2nd Round pick in 2011.

GM/Coach Young "I think Joe will be a great add to our team. He will be a valuable 6th man off the bench playing almost as many minutes as the starters. Patty Mills,Adam Morrison and D. Milicic will continue to round out the rotation"

I plan to post the rest of the 2009 season tomorrow. For those of you wondering, I edited all the incoming recruits to match the players coming out this year. So my recruiting class will have John Wall,Evan Turner,Wayne Johnson,D. Cousin,D. Favors ect.....

I actually simmed the entire year because I wanted to make my trades and get through the draft and sign Free Agents. I do plan on playing some games and having game highlights and stats starting next year, however for the most part this will be a sim dynasty as I spend most of my time playing College Basketball with the Fab 5. Starting this Association will allow me to bring in players from the Fab 5 and the rest of the board member created recruits, so that we can continue to keep tabs on them during the NBA careers as well.
