The story of Chris Allen (CHoops 2k8)

North Florida hires young coach from Red Oak, Texas
Jacksonville, FL

If you have wondered who can impact the program of North Florida basketball team, the Ospreys, it can be this young man. He coached basketball at Red Oak high school right after graduating from University of Houston, and led them to 3 straight state championships. They had a total record of 119-1 when he coached there. Their only lost was to Houston Yates High school in regular season which they lost in a thrilling 4 overtime game, 147-146. They got back at them in the state finals 107-101. Then this morning, North Florida Ospreys decided to hire him. "I can't wait to rebuild this program. I'm so excited, and I thank God for this. This program should go 32-0 soon.", says 25 year old Chris Allen.

Chris Allen doing good job recruiting for 14-13 Ospreys
Jacksonville, FL

Ospreys finished 14-13 and lost in A-Sun conference finals, but Chris Allen wasn't finished for the year. He decided to offer one of 3 scholarships to a 7'1" 3* center from Ivory Islands named, Anthony Cisso. He still wasn't finished and gave one more to a 6'2" 3* point guard from Cameroon, Miguel Sonosong and saved his third one for next year.

Ospreys in Kentucky easily beating opponents
Jacksonville, FL

Chris Allen asked to start off his year in the College Hoops 2k Classic tournament in Rupp, Kentucky to prepare Ospreys for a tough schedule he made. "I wasn't gonna give them an easy schedule and then embarrass them in the NCAA dance", says Allen.

Teams being too easy for UNF Ospreys
Jacksonville, FL

UNF had another huge win from another Texas school in UTSA in College Hoops 2k Classic 2nd round game in Lexington, Kentucky. "We had a harder time than Prairie View but we still had a good 2nd half game. The way we keep playing, no doubt we can win in New York next week against other champions from other brackets", says Chris Allen. "I was skeptical of playing for Coach Allen, but now I'm glad he made me come to UNF," says Anthony Cisse. UNF will go to New York to play Howard Bisons, who are also unbeaten and champions from Storrs, Connecticut bracket.

Re: The story of Chris Allen (CHoops 2k8)

Howard's late rally comes short
Jacksonville, FL

North Florida had been dominating the whole game till few seconds before halftime. That's when UNF's 7 footer, Anthony Cisse, fouled out. "I was disappointed and feel like it's my fault we almost lost", says Cisse, an Ivory Island native. The Ospreys were winning 42-13 at halftime then Howard started coming back and rallied late in 2nd half, but they came short after a Brent Wood FT with 30 seconds left. UNF then stole the ball from the Bisons and chewed the time out. Final score was 68-67 from Madison Square Garden. North Florida will play 6th ranked Memphis Tigers at 8:30 pm in Madison Square Garden tomorrow night. Memphis Tigers played first 2 games at Fedex Forum in Tennessee so they had avantage to get here, beating Florida in buzzer beater, and St. Johns by 17. "I can't wait to have an opportunity to play Memphis Tigers and test my team." says Chris Allen.

Sonosong- 15 pts, 6 ast
Wood- 23 pts, 3 ast, 5 rebs
