First Game vs SDSU

This was my first game as Liberty's Coach and I am going to completely take the blame for this loss. It was my fault not having the correct plays ready to run and executing them either,We couldn't keep up with team,D.Minaya had a great game scoring 15pts while going 3-3 from behind the arc.

We loss the game 81-56 but I feel that my team gave the effort needed to win,not enough execution.

Our next game is against a WAC team this would be a big win for me if I could get this.I think we are going to switch to a Dribble-Drive offense similar to John Calipari's and UK's playbook.

Here we go for next week

Tough loss to start the season, but I bet you can turn it around once you're more used to your new team. Good luck!

Re: The Career Legacy Of Coach Young

2nd Game

We played a whole lot better this game.I was proud of my seniors coming up in the clutch, but it was still a loss. They just hit their free throws at the end of the game. The final score was 78-72 with Fresno St getting the win over us.

I almost received my first ejection as Kyle was tackled while throwing a shot up and there was no foul called. The ref said it was a clean block.I will not write what I said but I was real close to being out of there.

Kyle started off the game 6-6 for threes but then he hit a 0-5 streak which held our scoring down. Our defense really needs to pick up.Oh Well we have Portland up next hopefully it will be our first win.
