Re: Stevo presents: The Rise of Reggie Miller

Reggie Miller was a lights-out shooter. After growing up in Riverside, CA, he attended UCLA. After serving as a benchwarmer in the first season, he then stepped up to be one of UCLA's best scorers all-time.
This "dynasty" is going to revive his collegiate career. He won't be putting up the same numbers, but it will be quite interesting to follow him.

Re: Stevo presents: The Rise of Reggie Miller

Preseason ending

Hello. My name is Reggie Miller and I'm going to report you about my collegiate career at the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA).
I'm a 6'7'', 195 lbs, Shooting Guard who is in his season as a freshman, after sitting out a year redshirting.

After the Training Camp, Head Coach Stevo told me that I'm going to play the season as the last man in our 11-man-rotation.
But, however, I'm quite sure that I'm going to get more playtime in the future.

So long, the season is up to start, with the first game against Arkansas!

Miller plays in his first NCAA1 game

While UCLA's 77-60 win over Arkansas, Reggie Miller played for his first time in NCAA game. He attempted in his 8 minutes of playing time one three-ball, while unfortunately not hitting it.
"I'm quite sure, I will play better next game. It wasn't easy for me, as there is a big difference between training and real game. But it was a great experience for me, as I also to guard directly their top-scorer.", Miller said. In the press conference, Head Coach _Stevo_ also added that he was content with Miller, as he made "a convincing first game"
UCLA's victory was never in danger, as they quickly led from the start off, with Norbert Eid and Irving McFadyen leading their pack with 12 points. Victorino Lorenzo got named the best player of the game with 10 points, 3 rebounds and impressing 4 blocks.

Re: Stevo presents: The Rise of Reggie Miller

So is this with classic rosters or are you just saying 1 guy on the team is Reggie?

Either way good luck trying to replicate his stats.

Re: Stevo presents: The Rise of Reggie Miller

Sorry, only 1 guy in the team is Reggie
i did not wanted to create the whole classic file

but either way, I'm looking: maybe he will also be better than the "real" Reggie

Re: Stevo presents: The Rise of Reggie Miller

December Recap

#1: ARKANSAS (W 77-60)
A quiet first game from me. An attempted three, but nothing else.

Stats: (8 M/1 R/1 PF/0-1 FG/0-1 3P)

#2: AIR FORCE (L 68-80)

We fouled ourselves really out of the game. Combined with a bad defense made an unexpected loss against the Air Force.
But, whatever, it gave me the chance to contribute. Second game and I already made 8 points, while Coach let me play 23 minutes, because of our foul trouble. Nice one - for me

Stats:(23 M/8 P/2 R/3 A/3 S/3-9 FG/2-6 3P)

#3: OKLAHOMA STATE (W 83-73)
"Easy" win against Oklahoma State that was never endangered. We had 5 guys in double figures and I also put up nice numbers with 6 points in only 7 minutes. Nothing much to say about it, pretty good shooting from myself, as far as I would say.

Stats:
(7 M/6 P/2-3 FG/2-2 FT)

#4: FRESNO STATE (W 112-78)
Total destruction. Purely. They never had any chance, so that wasn't a problem for us. The last minutes our starting 5 could sit out, so I got 12 minutes, where I recorded 7 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. I need to improve on my shooting from beyond the arc that isn't good as far. Our C with 22/12 in 29 minutes, impressive.

Stats: (12 M/7 P/5 R/2 A/3-7 FG/1-4 3P)

#5: NEW MEXICO (W 72-45)
Lame game. Did not played much and did not contributing anything than 2 missed shots. A night definitely to forget!

Stats: (8 M/0-2 FG)

#6: TENNESSEE (W 86-64)
I scored tonight the first in my collegiate career in double figures! As we had early foul trouble, Coach let me play 16 minutes. Again I shot bad from beyond the three-point line. Maybe I need to step back in that area. However, 10 points and 3 rebounds are very good stats for me!

Stats: (16 M/10 P/3 R/1 S/3-7 FG/1-5 3P/3-3 FT)

#7: INDIANA (L 73-57)
Tough loss against the number 1 of the polls. They are now at 6-0 and will be a team to consider at the run for the championship. As a team, we shot under .350% from the field. Like a symbol, I did not play very well. Turned over two possessions and missed a three. Ugh.

Stats: (8 M/0-1 FG/0-1 3P/ 2 T)

#8: OKLAHOMA STATE (W 82-52)
Another time against OK State. Solid conrtibution from myself, 3 points and 3 rebounds. Way to improve is for sure available, I need to consider my shooting decisions.

Stats: (8 M/3 P/3 R/1-3 FG/1-3 3P)

Re: Stevo presents: The Rise of Reggie Miller

That was my first NCAA month playing.

I averaged solid 4 points in November, combined with 1 or 2 rebounds per game. Of course there is room for improvement, but I'm very content with myself, despite my shooting from beyond the arc.
