The Green Machine: 2009-2010 Boston Celtics

I am going to simulate the first 2009-2010 season and they have one of the best off-seasons known to man-kind. The center of my team is going to be around Rondo for years to come. I am going to post updates on this often and post some stats of the players and tell you when I make trades, etc. I am hoping to get a nice crowd of followers for this. In the 2010 off-season I am going to try and make this Celtics team a bit younger and hope that they will be a powerhouse for years to come. My goal is to win the 2010-2011 championship and win over 55 games. Keep following!

Re: The Green Machine: 2009-2010 Boston Celtics

After simming the first season, the record of the Boston Celtics was... 41-41, a dissapointing record. But in the first round, the 8th seeded Celtics swept the 1st seeded Cavaliers. Moving on into the second round, the Celtics lost a 7 game series to the Orlando Magic, seeded 5th. Moving into the off-season, the Celtics hope to turn this all around bigtime.

Moving into the off-season, the Celtics goals are to get younger and improve the teams overall from a 85 to at least a 90. Another goal is to keep Paul Pierce and sign some veterans to help teach our younger kids. Get a solid bench and not go below our cap room. I feel like if we can accomplish all of this, we got it down.

Looks like you're shaking things up quite a bit. Good luck.
