Restoring A Dynasty - 2k11 Celtics

Well, it's no secret that the Celtics are getting older. They are still championship contenders, however, this year is most likely a "make it or break it" year for Boston. I decided to bring the fountain of youth back to Boston.

Game: NBA 2k11
Team: Celtics
Quarters: 12 min.

Re: Restoring A Dynasty - 2k11 Celtics

Well, I decided to sim out the first season to start the rebuilding process through the draft. The Celtics finished as the #2 seed, but fell to the Bulls in the 1st round.

Transactions

The Celtics have traded Nate Robinson and their 1st rounder to the Clippers for a filler player and a 1st rounder. This move comes days after Robinson brawled with Coach Doc Rivers over a missed defensive assignment. This is said to not be the first time the two have gone at it.

Not really a transaction, but Shaq retired.

Kendrick Perkins wasn't making as much progress with his torn ACL as Boston had hoped, so they waived him.

Delonte West thought he could get more money on the market, so he decided to join another team.

Boston traded the #4 overall pick (from Clippers) and Avery Bradley to the Kings for the #1 overall pick.

With the #1 overall pick, Boston selected 6'7" SG Quinn Vaughn, who is one of the most highly-touted prospects since LeBron James. Vaughn has a huge potential ceiling, and is set to make his NBA debut soon.

The Celtics also got a few role players in free agency in Jerry Stackhouse, and Derek Fisher.
