PSAC Tournament - No less than two weeks ago Cheyney cruised to a 86-70 victory over Edinboro. The Fighting Scots made it clear this time it would be different, they completely shut down Hoyt Newcomb - whom had 29 the last time they played. Newcomb was only able to get off 1 shot this time, while battling foul trouble, he was limited to just 3 points as Edinboro destroyed Cheyney 78-40.

Cheyney managed to shoot only 31% from the field while committing 21 turnovers. Edinboro shot 44% from the field and was led by Brian Rivers with 25.
