Coaching Carousel

Connecticut - Big East

Northwestern State - Southland

Elon - Southern

Tennessee-Martin - OVC

--------------------
New Places needs New faces, as the coaching carousel begins. There are teams in need of a new head coach either they were fired, retired, or found new jobs else were. Either way they are looking to improve their basketball team for the future!

---------------------

Connecticut hires former Oakland head coach G. Kampe.

Career Record: 404-294
Huskies 07-08 record: 20-16 [7-11]

Now with head coach G. Kampe gone to coach the huskies. It leaves a spot wide open for someone, but the question is who?

Enter T. Lloyd

Former Assistant for the Gonz. He is trying to make a name for himself, as a head coach but has some big shoes to fill. Oakland managed to get into the NCAA tournament but didn't finish well.

Now the next three coaches were fired because they couldn't produce a winning season for their teams and they now look for new employment elsewhere.

W.Wilson

New head coach of the Northwestern State was a former assistant for MEM. He now looks to rebuild this program into his image and is looking nowhere but up!

These next two new head coaches were both assistants on the same team just a season ago and now looks to brand their own team.

B. Noel [Elon] & D. Rand
[Tennessee-Martin]

Both of these new coaches were former assistants to CofC just a season ago which means the head coach their will be looking for new assistants. it should be interesting to see how both these coaches pan out in the long run for these programs.

That will do it for this edition of Coaches Steps!

Coach Kirby Fires one Assistant and Hires a new one!

Press Conference - " Yes, it is true that i have let go of coach robins. Reason why is because he told me he wanted to test the water out there with another team and i couldn't stop him from go, but it didn't take long to find his replace. I will like to introduce everyone to our new addition to this team Coach Parker Caskill."

Parker Caskill
Overall - C
Offense - C
Defense - B+
Teaching - C-
Scouting - D
Charisma - D
Discipline - D

"Coach Caskill had caught our eyes in the interview process and I think he will help us get better with our defense. Which I think needs to get better along with our offense. This should be a very productive year for us and hopefully we do better then last year!"

Recruits Signing!

In his first year as a head coach on the college level. Coach Kirby need to rebuild this team and needed to do it, as fast as he could!

Coach Kirby - " I spent most last year at the ABL games scouting these young players. I have to say i was very impressed with what some of them could do. I would gladly like to introduce our two new recruits."

1. John-Michael Copeland (***) from West Palm Beach, FL
* Over: #221 Pos: #17
" I think we got a steal when Copeland signed to come play basketball here at kennesaw. He has the size and potential to make his way into the starting lineup day 1. I watched him at the ABL games and I was blown away with what he did! I think if we can work on someone of his stuff during the season he should compete with Andrew for the starting Center position. If we don't red-shirt him that is."

2. Ruben Martin (***) From Atlanta, GA
* Overall #341 Pos. #82

"I think martin is a good all-around player and i like to see that in many of my players. I was only able to catch a few of martin games but from what i saw he is pretty good. With good coaching i think he will be a great player for us."
