BeeRad,

I appreciate the kind words and glad to have you following. I'm currently in the process of actually putting things in a newer and exciting format. So please bear with me as the posts that I've already done go through a bit of editing over the next few days.

It's always an interesting and exciting matchup to watch when Kobe Bryant and Richard Hamilton step onto the court against each other. Kobe Bryant who had been playing with back spasms announced his back is fine and he's ready to shake off a very rocky start averaging only 19.5 points per game. Richard Hamilton who most likely will probably in the middle of trade rumors til February has maintained his stellar play. He leads the Pistons averaging 19.5 points per game. This is the second game of the Lakers three game road trip that will conclude in Minnesota.

Report: Lakers send rookie Ebanks to Bakersfield
Ebanks.pngDETROIT, MI - The Lakers announced earlier today that they have sent rookie forward Devin Ebanks to the Bakersfield Jam, their D-League affiliate. Ebanks was sent to get playing time and get a much tighter grasp on the triangle offense. Coach Phil Jackson sees a lot of potential in the rookie even so far as going to say that he reminds him of a younger Trevor Ariza with a more spot on jumper. Ebanks will probably be brought back up within the next few weeks. Expect rookie forward Derrick Caracter and rookie guard Trey Johnson to also see some D-League time when Odom and Ratliff return to the Lakers lineup in the next few months.

Been digging this, fancier format or not. Kobe struggling with the back problem has been interesting to follow. Looks like your Lakers are having bigger probs than even the real Lakers did this year.

I personally would've preferred if you had done this with the upcoming season (considering all the big changes in Lakerland, the struggles would've been even more dramatic) but this is cool too. No huge difference.

Re: The Last Stand - Los Angeles Lakers 2K11 Dynasty

Thanks for the comment and for also following. I actually think that doing a franchise after all of the player movement from this year was done and then playing this season with those players on their new teams was an exciting idea for me and also how would those players that were moved do with a full season with their new team. Who would be released? traded? injured? I must admit that I thought Odom going down in the home opener was going to not impact me that much but it has. He is still 2-4 weeks away from returning. Kobe however I'm glad to report that after the Milwaukee game has no lingering back spasms and is given a clean bill of health. Currently playing the Lakers/Pistons game on November 17th. Hoping to finish up the month of November either today or tomorrow.

The Lakers enter tonight's game on the final leg of a brief three game road trip. Tonigh't key matchup looks at the power forward position tonight. Pau Gasol vs. Kevin Love. Kevin Love is coming off 3 consecutive double-doubles after 16 points and 13 rebounds against the Clippers. Bynum on the other hand has been providing the Lakers with an extra kick on the offensive end of the ball while Kobe has been recovering from back spasms. He recorded 11 points and 6 blocks the other night against the Pistons but had a season low 2 rebounds. The Lakers are hoping to avenge the 99-93 loss they experienced against the T'Wolves last week.
