What other kinds of things would you like to see on here? I'm going to give the box score another try by using a different template. And I'm also planning a a review of the 2011 Draft.......looking individually at the top 5 players drafted that year (the year I drafted Knight) and comparing where they are in their careers...giving draft grades, etc. I feel like doing this in their third year is fair.

What else would you guys like to see? I'm open to any and all suggestions...

Darius Knight not happy with Sunday's loss



Jan. 19, 2014 - Darius Knight did his best to prevent the Pistons' second straight loss on Sunday night by scoring 56 points, but it wasn't enough.

Detroit lost their second consecutive contest by failing to play consistently good defense on young point man Tyson Davenport, who exploded for 36 points and 10 assists.

"This one's on me," said head coach Tyrone Corbin after the game. "We should have tried some different things on him to break his rhythm. We'll go back to the drawing board, and next time we play them, we'll be ready."

The Pistons simply couldn't get stops when they needed them the most, allowing the Raptors to score 34 points in the all-important fourth quarter.

Detroit will look to bounce back on Tuesday night in Philadelphia.

Pistons Bounce Back
Detroit Defeats 76ers, 104-91

Jan 21, 2014 - The Detroit Pistons got back in the win column tonight after defeating the Philadelphia 76ers, 104-91.

Darius Knight was magnificent once again, contributing 48 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds, and 3 blocks.

The Pistons took a slim 74-70 lead heading into the fourth quarter, and in a complete reversal of Sunday's poor showing, the Pistons clamped down on the defensive end. A quick 11-0 burst early in the quarter tilted the game firmly in Detroit's favor, and the 76ers never recovered.

PG Patty Mills got the starting nod in this one for Philadelphia as Rodney Stuckey is still recovering from a torn hamstring. He contributed 9 points and 5 assists.

For Detroit, guard Andre Iguodala bounced back from his poor showing against Toronto with 20 points and 5 rebounds.

Up Next: Detroit will travel home to face the Los Angeles Lakers tomorrow night on the second night of a back-to-back. It will be a short homestand however as they will immediately hit the road again to face the Washington Wizards on Friday.

Knight and Bargnani Team Up to Down Lakers, 111-109

Dec. 22, 2014 - The Detroit Pistons rode fantastic performances from forwards Darius Knight and Andrea Bargnani to edge the Los Angeles Lakers 111-109 on Wednesday night at the Palace at Auburn Hills.

Darius Knight dropped 50 points on 16 of 24 shooting while Bargnani registered 34 points of his own, converting 6 of 8 tries from beyond the arc.

This was easily Bargnani's best game since returning from injury earlier this month, and he appears to be regaining the rhythm he was showing before his two-week absense.

Led by Kobe Bryant's 32-point showing, the Lakers tried to make a late charge to tie the game, but it was simply too little too late, and the Pistons were able to make free throws down the stretch to keep the game out of reach.

Injury News: Center Marcus Buchanan incurred a bruised sternum while attempting to draw a charge. According to head coach Tyrone Corbin, the injury is not believed to be serious and Buchanan shouldn't miss any game action.

Up Next: The Pistons will travel to our nation's capital to take on the Washington Wizards on Friday night. Tip-off is at 7:30pm.
