Re: Detroit Pistons Dynasty: If the Wings can do it, why can't we?
The Road to repeating has become even tougher for the Miami Heat. Dwyane Wade is already out until February at the earliest (and possibly as long as April) rehabbing a torn MCL, and now in a preseason game Chris Bosh has broken his wrist and will be out 4-6 weeks. Lebron James said, "Everyone on this team is a NBA player. Everyone of us can go out and compete, score, rebound, play defense, and win in this league. Whether Chris and Dwyane are playing or not, every man on this team expects to win every night. I know the guys on the bench. They will step up."

The Detroit Pistons cut Power Forward Chris Wright, a non-roster training camp invitee, and signed 2nd year power forward Vernon Macklin, who played sparingly for the Pistons in the 2011/2012 season. The Pistons opening day roster is set as follows:
Re: Detroit Pistons Dynasty: If the Wings can do it, why can't we?
It is opening night of the 2012/2013 NBA season. On TNT will be a doubleheader of the Houston Rockets at the Oklahoma City Thunder and the 2nd game will be the Utah Jazz at the Golden State Warriors.
Top storylines for this season include:
1. Can Lebron James and Miami overcome the loss of Chris Bosh for the first six weeks and Dwyane Wade for the first 4-6 months of the season?
2. Can the Spurs repeat last year's success with their top stars another year older?
3. Are the Bulls finally poised to bring home a first championship ring for Derrick Rose?
4. Will teammates provide Durant and Westbrook with enough help on offense to get the Thunder to the NBA finals for the first time?
5. Are the Pacers as good as advertised with a budding young stars in Paul George, Eric Gordon, Roy Hibbert, Darren Collison, and the steady veteran play of David West?
6. Are the Celtics going to miss the playoffs for the first time since the arrival of the big three with Kevin Garnett moving on to the Denver Nuggets?
7. Can a lineup Dwight Howard, Ramon Sessions, and Kobe Bryant drag a team of castoffs and unknowns deep into the playoffs?
8. Will the additions of Kevin Garnett and Wilson Chandler result in a deep playoff run for the Nuggets or issues with chemistry and complaints about playing time as some experts suggest?
9. Which young team will rise up and suprise this year?
10. Can the Charlotte Bobcats avoid losing 73 games?
