Trade Deadline Passes: Monta Stays Put;
Mayo, Gallinari Swapped

Winning 9 of their last 10 games leading up to the trade deadline, the Warriors decided to keep their current core intact. With trade rumors surrounding his name, Monta Ellis made a statement the day before the deadline, putting up 44 points against the Suns.

Memphis decided to part ways with O.J. Mayo in a deal that sent him and Hamed Haddadi to Denver for Danilo Gallinari and Kenneth Faried.

All Star Weekend: Ellis and Lee Represent Warriors at All-Star Game

The Warriors had two players named to the Western Conference All-Star Team. Monta Ellis (1st appearance) and David Lee (2nd appearance) were selected as reserves for the West. Monta Ellis is averaging 23.3 PPG, 4.8 APG, and 1.9 SPG while David Lee is putting up 17.5 PPG to go with 11.7 RPG (3rd in NBA).

Warriors Re-Sign McGuire

The Warriors re-signed 26 year old SF Dominic McGuire to 1 year deal for 487K. McGuire was not interested in signing a longer deal and will provide some depth behind Jackson and Wright for the next year.

The Warriors declined to re-sign Nate Robinson, indicating that they will be looking for a new backup in the off-season. Charles Jenkins, Earl Barron, Jeremy Tyler, and Chris Wright have decided to test free agency.
