Worst Team No Longer, Maybe

Kemba may finally have a reason to smile again!

2. D.J. Augustin2. Jordan Crawford
3. Gerald Henderson3. Andray Blatche
4. Reggie Williams4. Shelvin Mack

2. Bismack Biyombo2. Travis Outlaw
3. Derrick Brown

NO/CHA Trade
Sacramento Kings ReceiveCharlotte Bobcats Receive
1. D.J. White1. Lance Thomas
2. Byron Mullens2. Darryl Watkin

After a 7-59 season, the Bobcats are making efforts to make sure that their record improves. This is a very good sign for Charlotte fans, as it shows that their manager is not just content with attempting to rebuild through the draft. Sure, the trades were with some of the lower teams of the league, but they proved to the fans that they were wanted to start winning as soon as possible. One of the most surprising moves, though, came with the trading of D.J. Augustin. While he was a tremendous sixth man in Charlotte, the Bobcats no longer wanted to pay his contract. With Augustin's departure from the team, Kemba Walker has solidified his position as starter.

Only two players remain of the original starting five that the Bobcats had listed before starting the season. Kemba Walker and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist seem to be the men the Bobcats want leading the team into the future. These trades build around these two key players. Still, these are not the huge trades needed to make this team a threatening one. They will likely still have trouble in their own division, but things are certainly looking up for this young team. If they continue to draft correctly and make the right transactions, this team may just be in the playoffs in only a few short years.

And, hey, you can't get much worst than what they did last year.

Unfortunately, you're late for the 2013 draft, but I can put you in the 2014 draft, if that's okay?

Defensive style(man, press): Man to Man
Phase(rebuilding, win now): Looking for the final piece
Player roles: Starters are Lowry, Derozan, Fields, Bargnani, and Johnson
Expectations: Make playoffs as 7 seed
Long shot expectation but possible: Make 3 seed
Disappointment: Bottom 10
Unacceptable: Bottom 3
Looking forward to in free agency: Andrew Bynum, Rudy Gay, Andre Igoudala
Position looking forward to: SF, C
Trade block: Calderon, Bayless, Davis, A. Johnson, Fields
Untouchable: Derozan
Franchise cornerstones: Derozan
Draft philosophy(offense, speed, driving): Best player available
Players you want to trade for: Andre Igoudala, Rudy Gay, Carmelo Anthony, Andrew Bynum. Really, any quality SFs or Cs.
Various expectations: Improve as a team in general.

Looking to draft a SF. How highly ranked am I? I submitted a CAP for the draft, Jacob Danovitch.
