Run out of Town: Sixers manhandled by Clippers
By Jaggo Smorts

After three straight wins, the Philadelphia 76ers were headed in to Los Angeles last night on a bit of a high. Unfortunately, they were brought crashing back down to earth by the Clippers.

DeAndre Jordan unleashed a monster double-double (23 PTS, 14 REB), Caron Butler was his usual sharpshooting self, pouring in 26 points, and the Clippers beat the 76ers, 116-94.

From the onset of this one, it never looked like it was going to be pretty. As soon as the Clippers pulled down the first rebound of the game, after a Jrue Holiday miss, they were off to the races and never looked back. The scary thing about the Clippers performance is that the Sixers are known for being a high-energy, run-the-floor style team, and they looked completely out of their element.

The lone bright spot for the Sixers came in the form of Nick Young, who finally showed up this season with an 18 point performance off the bench.

No Aldridge, No Problem: Sixers fall to Lamarcus-less Blazers
By Jaggo Smorts

The Portland Trailblazers have been the laughing stock of the NBA season to this point, losing by more than 20 points four separate times in only six games. Last night, none of that mattered as they got up early and stayed ahead just long enough to outlast the Philadelphia 76ers, 90-86.

It has been an odd season so far for our Sixers. They came out of the gates with two ugly losses to the Raptors and Timberwolves. In those two losses their offense couldn't have looked much worse. But then, almost looking like a completely different team, the Sixers pounced on Orlando, Houston and Milwaukee for W's. With their offense running smoothly, and much more efficiently, it looked like good things were in store for the Sixers.

Then, just as things went sweet, they turned sour again.

Trounced on the road by the Clippers, the Sixers hoped that the floundering Trailblazers would help them get on their feet away from the Wells Fargo Center. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case.

Andre Iguodala had a good night, scoring 20 Points and pulling down 9 Rebounds, but the spotlight belonged to only one man on this night.

Wesley Matthews. The man who was brought in to Portland to simply back up Brandon Roy continues to make a name for himself with Roy now in Minnesota. He racked up 34 Points, to the tune of 13-19 shooting from the field and was on fire the entire game.

The Sixers will now head to Golden State for one final game on this road trip.

Danny Pommells: "Welcome to the Morning Minute here at CSNPhilly.Com, presented by Dunkin Donuts, I'm Danny Pommells."

Danny Pommells: "The Philadelphia 76ers GM Rod Thorn was busy in to the wee hours of last night, because we wake up this morning to the news of Jeff Teague heading to Philadelphia. CSN Philadelphia was able to catch up with Teague this morning at his first Sixers team practice to see what he had to say."

Jeff Teague: "I just feel rejuvenated here in Philadelphia, you know? Things were obviously winding down back in Atlanta, players going here and there, I feel like the intensity and the competitiveness here in Philly is unmatched."

Reporter: "How about the minutes here? You started with the Hawks, how you envision that working out?"

Jeff Teague: "That doesn't even matter to me man, as long as I get enough time on the court to do what I can, that's enough for me. If it's 30 minutes, if it's 20 minutes, if it's 10 minutes. Regardless of how long I'm out there, I should be able to make an impact."

Danny Pommells: "The trade for Teague sends Nikola Vucevic and the Sixers 1st Rd. Pick next year to the Hawks."
