July 8, 2010 - A sigh of relief for the Cleveland fans, as their very own 'king', LeBron James re-signed to the Cavs for a five-year contract worth over $100M. LeBron's loyalty has inspired many, bringing NBA All-Star Chris Bosh and Ramon Sessions to this brand new Cleveland Cavaliers that are on the success train to an NBA Championship.
Although many stand in their way, such as a determined and ring-hungry Derrick Rose and Dwayne Wade who resigned at the Miami Heat - LeBron promised the Cleveland fans an NBA Championship and that he will do anything he can to win it.
LeBron James - "I have thought long and hard about this, but I WILL be returning to the Cavs this fall and I will live up to the hype as being 'king' of the NBA."

Going into his ninth year in the NBA, at 26 years of age, Lebron James still does not have a ring. Coming close in 2007 but lost to a near-perfect San Antonio Spurs, Lebron has almost no choice but to perform this season.
Two days ago, in a Press Conference in Cleveland, Ohio - many journalists and other media associates gathered around asking Cleveland captain LeBron James some interesting and challenging questions. One asked the King what he had improved this offseason, Lebron replied saying "this offseason I have improved my jumpshot, mid-ranged and long-ranged.. simply because many of my teammates and my coach tell me that I really on attacking the basket too much, so hopefully my offseason training can make a difference to the outcome of the playoffs this year."
The reigning MVP was also asked 'what changes need to be made for Cleveland to succeed this year?' Lebron thought for around 3-4 seconds before saying "We just need to keep doing what we're doing, Andrea is gonna have to keep crashing the boards like last season, Ramon and Daniel are gonna have to keep dishing the ball out, Bosh is going to have to stay aggressive and me of course will have to be the best player in the NBA. Everyone has a part to play, even our roleplayers on the bench but unfortunately for me, I have the toughest job to do simply because... thatshow it is. This is the season to get it done and I think we won't disappoint."
That concluded the press conference. Cleveland are away at Boston this week, all eyes are on Lebron and co to win their first ever NBA title.
LEBRON'S OPENS CAVS SEASON WITH A WIN AND 51 POINTS!
CLEVELAND CAVALIERS 99-93 BOSTON CELTICS
LeBron James once again filled the stat sheet and gave Cleveland Cavaliers the big season opener at Boston Celtics last night. LeBron dropped 51 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists to help Cleveland win the first game of the season by six points. Nothing came easy, Boston defense was somehow solid forcing Lebron to ten turnovers last night.
Paul Pierce inspired Boston throughout the match with 45 points and six rebounds but just wasn't able to win Boston the game.
CLEVELANDS TOP PERFORMERS
Lebron James - 51 PTS, 8 REB, 5 AST, 4 STL, 1 BLK, 10 TO
Chris Bosh - 15 PTS, 6 REB, 1 AST, 2 BLK
Lebron lit the TD Garden up with 4 monster dunks while driving to the basket while Anderson Varejoa and Chris Bosh crashed the boards aggressively, just as LeBron said they should have.
Paul Pierce missed 19 of his field goal attempts but was still hitting the important shots in the fourth quarter. Rondo raked up 6 steals and 12 assists, while most of his assists went to Paul Pierce, Rondo managed to get 4 of his steals on LeBron James who put on an offensive clinic last night.
In the Post Game Press Conference, the critics could not overlook LeBron's ten turnover game he had. While one journalist asked him 'why did you keep losing the ball tonight?' Lebron replied saying, "he was trying to win, and he did so the turnovers don't matter at all, We have gotten this game of our chest and now we are just looking forward to Toronto in two days time."
Cleveland host Toronto in two days time, how much turnovers and points will King James get? We never know...
Good victory, 51 points on the opening night isn't bad haha. Paul Pierce had a great game too with 9 less turnovers than LeBron. I guess that has to be the one thing to improve on for the next game.

I know I didn't realize Lebron had that much, i was just focused on the amount of points he had... ah well
