Houston Rockets Fire Daryl Morey!

In a Shocking turn of events today, the Houston Rockets have fired Daryl Morey today and have brought in a 25 year old from Illinois. Tyler Francis was named the new Gm of the Houston Rockets just hours after Daryl Morey got the shocking news of his firing. " It's hard to believe." is what he told reporters before leaving the Rockets Headquarters. meanwhile Tyler Francis is getting settled into his new role as Gm, and hopefully does some good for the team.

Rockets fall in opener to Utah Jazz
The Rockets lose opener to the Utah Jazz, what could be worst out there Rockets fans? Jazz win 76 to 58 in a slow game for the Rockets Offensively, who's best scorer was Terrence Jones who had 18 points, 2 rebounds, 1 ast, a block, and 2 turnovers. We had a total of seven turnovers (come on guys!? seriously? ) and it showed in this game.

11/2/11

Rockets fall to 0 - 2 Vs. Sacramento

A little bit better for the Rockets, as we lose 72 - 84 to the Kings in Sacramento. James Harden could not be stopped offensively scoring a outstanding 27 points and 5 rebounds proving he belongs here. Unfortunately him and Terrence Williams were the only ones to score over 10 points ( ) We play the Jazz next in our turf on the 5th for are first game home this year.

10/5/11

Rockets first win of the season at home, revenge was served on Jazz.

The Rockets secured there first win of the year, beating the Jazz 92 - 80. Jeremy Lin was are top scorer with 19 points, 5 ast, and 2 steals! are win came with a loss, as Chandler Parsons goes home with the flu, and well most likely miss tuesdays game against the 3 - 0 Pacers who are looking hungrier for a NBA Championship than ever.

10/8/11

Pacers trample Rockets 119 - 84

The Pacers made the Rockets look like a D - League team thrashing them 119 - 84, as Terrence Jones showed us he belongs here by scoring a outstanding 23 points and grabbing 7 rebounds. James Harden had a horrible game going 5 - 15 on shooting and Jeremy Lin only made 4 out of his 17 attempts at shooting the ball.

Rockets acquire Center Ben Wallace

Ben Wallace and the Houston Rockets have come to terms on a contract as they sign him to a one year deal that will pay him $775K. Reporter, jamie kinfield caught up with Tyler Francis, Rockets GM to ask him about the signing.

JK: Mr. Francis, what made you sign Ben Wallace?

TF: I felt like we needed a veteran player at the Center position to help Omer Asik and Cole Aldrich out. Ben Wallace gives us a good defensive guy to give Omer a break and really help us out in rebounding and blocking.

Jk: Okay, how does Big Ben feel about coming over to Houston?

TF: He told us after we signed him that he was relieved to be able to play this year and is happy he is part of a team that is young and would be able to teach Omer (Asik) and Cole (Aldrich) a few things.

JK: Okay, and when will he make his debut?

TF: We are planning to use him in tonights game against the 76ers, and he is to fly straight down there.

JK: Okay, thank you, Mr. Francis.

Rockets get there second win of the season against Warriors!

The Houston Rockets have done it folks! They win there second game of the season, as star, James Harden scores a outstanding 31 points, but unfortunately, he alone gave 5 turnovers! Jeremy Lin would score a measly 13 points this game, only averaging 11.0 PPG, this season so far. The Golden State Warriors had a great game going with Harrison Barnes scoring a outstanding 33 points for them. Te Houston Rockets are now 2 - 0 at home, but 0 - 4 on the road.

Breaking News!

Today the Rockets announced that they have acquired Glen "crybaby" Davis from the Orlando Magic and a second round pick, for Patrick Patterson. It is clear that the Magic are rebuilding after losing star, Dwight Howard to the Lakers. The Rockets are in a kind of rebuild mode and have acquired a good player in Glen Davis and a projected top 5 second round pick.

Winners: Houston Rockets, it is clear that the Rockets have won this trade getting a better player and a second round pick for a descent player with a high ceiling. Patrick Patterson is only 22 years old and should develop for the Magic to use in the future, once Al Harrington retires or gets traded.
