Richard Hamilton time up in Chicago?

Pic: Richard Hamilton may be soon traded out of Chicago.

AP --- Chicago Bulls and their fans have grown a bit tired of the inability of Richard Hamilton to contribute to the teams success. The Bulls sit atop the Eastern Conference with a 21-9 record, but Richard Hamilton has not been much a contributing factor to any of the teams success. He is playing the second least minutes in his career, and is shooting a career worst .182% from three point range. His 7.2 points per contest is also the worst in his career.

Chicago, is trying to package him along with Nate Robinson to free up time for Marquise Teague. Some rumored suiters are New York, and Memphis; however, Chicago has kept things pretty quiet on their plans with the duo.

Re: Bulluminati

Bulls begin new year on the right foot.
Currently riding 12 game winning streak, Chicago is clicking on all cylinders.

Pic: Joakim Noah grabs a season hi 16 rebounds in win over Cavs.

Chicago, IL. --- The Chicago Bulls are making it known that last years early playoff exit was a fluke and a thing of the past as they have coasted through the season thus far. The play as of late has many fans saying lets shut our mouths now, and wait til the playoffs arive to start chirping again. Chicago's latest three game stretch saw them defeat the Orlando Magic, Miami Heat, and Cleveland Cavaliers.

Orlando Magic game was one that seemed like a trap game for the Bulls, as they were looking a game ahead to their contest against the defending champion Miami Heat. However, Derrick Rose was focused and relentless as he scored 14 fourth quarter points sealing the Bulls 10th consecutive victory.

Tom Thibodeau told his players that he wanted nothing but their best in 2013 and in this game everyone played like that except Richard Hamilton whom has been hearing chirping about a possible trade involving him.

Miami Heat opened their doors for the Bulls next, and it was a back and forth see-saw game the entire time. The fourth quarter saw a duel between Dwayne Wade and Derrick Rose that saw both players score 12 points in the final frame. However, it would be Rose's points that meant the most to his team. Chicago's bench also played spectacular in this game scoring 42 points, doubling the Heat's bench production. Both teams hope to meet in the playoffs where the games will mean a lot more.

Cleveland Cavaliers visited Chicago to begin the second week of the new year, however it seemed as if Cleveland were stuck in quick sand as Chicago dismantled them by the tune of 47 points. A 111-64 victory, that saw both Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah post season best numbers in assist and rebounds respectively.

Cavaliers starting five leading scorer only scored a dismal seven points while Daniel Gibson and Jeremy Pargo came off the bench to lead the team in scoring with a pathetic 11 points each. While Carlos Boozer led all scorers with 20 to complete this three game stretch.

Other NBA News: Report: Magic get Richard Jefferson from Warriors. Marcus Camby on the move; Knicks ship him to Philadelphia. Marquis Teague frustrated with the Bulls. Bulls crush Cavaliers en route to 12 straight victory. Green unsettled in Boston? Lawson stays with Denver for 5yr/$57.94M.

Re: Bulluminati

Bulls ride 15 game winning streak.
New #1 in Power Ranking are Chicago Bulls.

Pic: Carlos Boozer stepping up his play for Bulls..

Chicago, IL. --- There is no team in sports hotter than the Chicago Bulls right now. Derrick Rose and company has managed to find their chemistry and turn that into a 15-game winning streak. Chicago's last loss occured December 12th in a 86-98 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers and here we are a month later with no losses since. Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau said that "the team is still a long ways away from playing good basketball. But, we will continue to work on getting better." This was very Thibish to say as he is a perfectionist to say the least.

Chicago first game of this three game update was against the Milwaukee Bucks. A team that was playing without Monta Ellis, and Chicago saw that the void was their and exploited it big time as they knocked off the Bucks 102-76. The Bulls scoring trio of Deng, Rose, and Boozer combined for 60 points in the win.

Next for the Bulls were the New York Knickerbockers. The Knicks were playing shorthanded as Carmelo Anthony missed the game with an injury. The previous two games between these teams were decided by a combined two points. This game was just as close as the Bulls narrowly escaped with a 94-90 victory. Iman Shumpert, and J.R Smith carried the load for New York however, their contribution just wasn't enough to knock off the streaking Bulls.

Prior to the Knick game the Bulls decided that it was time to part ways with Richard Hamilton, and Nate Robinson. As they made a three-team deal with Cleveland, and Memphis. Richard Hamilton, and Mareese Speights ended up in Cleveland. While Nate Robinson, and Omri Casspi went to Memphis. In return Chicago got defensive stopper Tony Allen. Allen debut was against the Knicks where he scored 8 points on 4-6 shooting.

The Bulls closed off the week against Phoenix where they would win handedly after a 26-8 fourth quarter. Chicago, defeated the Suns 94-70 powered by Derrick Rose's 22 points, 5 rebound, 5 assist performance, and Tony Allen's 16 point, 8 rebound, 10 assist, 2 steal performance in his first game in Chicago as a Bull.

"It just feels good to be back home" said Tony Allen after the Suns game. As he spoke about being a Bull. Chicago next three games will be at home against Atlanta, then on the road for two against Toronto, and Boston. Chicago currently sits at #1 in the eastern conference with a 27-9 record.

Re: Bulluminati

Are they beatable?
Derrick Rose seems to have found his groove.

Pic: Derrick Rose has been playing out of his mind lately.

Chicago, IL. --- The Chicago Bulls are on a roll that doesn't seem to be ending any time soon for the league leading Bulls. Their defense is shutting teams down holding them to a league best 86.1 points per game. Point Guard Derrick Rose has exploded his last two games scoring a combined 76 points and dishing 22 assist. It bothered Rose that his names were not amongst some names mentioned for MVP, and he let his frustrations go on the court.

Too bad for teams like Toronto, and Boston. Boston, was without star point guard Rajon Rondo for the game, and the lack of leadership and floor general showed in the teams inability to put the ball in the basket. Joakim Noah, on the other hand has been trying to play his way onto the all-star team for the first time in his career. He posted three consecutive games with at least 14 points, and 10 rebounds.

Chicago is hoping to ring in 60 wins, as opposed to their 48 wins that was projected at the start of the season.

Re: Bulluminati

Bulls streak Reaches 21.
Rose gets a Player of the Week honor.

Pic: Joakim Noah works on his Finger Roll.

Chicago, IL. --- The wins keep on coming in, and as Bulls fans you are loving it right now to be apart of such an awesome thing. However, Chicago has still stayed humble, behind their leader Derrick Rose and they believe they must continue to play hard and not lose focus until a championship is brought to Chicago. Last years early playoff exit is still fresh throughout everyone's mind and tough basketball is a must to be played nightly until that trophy is back in Chicago.

This recent three game stretch saw the Bulls hit the 20-game winning streak mark. They are now 13 straight wins away from the record set by the Lakers in the 1971-72 season where they won 33 straight games.

The Bulls managed to defeat a Grizzlies team that was at full strength handedly only proving that this team is rolling on all cylinders. Chicago, was led by Derrick Rose whom scored 30 points, and dished out 11 assist to go along with five rebounds. Rudy Gay led the Grizzlies in scoring. Zach Randolph, and Marc Gasol disappointed their team and fans by combining for seven points, and 10 rebounds.

Chicago then hosted the Los Angeles Lakers. The story was no different than it had been the previous 19 wins, so Chicago laid a thumping on the all-star team from Los Angeles. Derrick Rose led the Bulls with a 21 point, 11 assist night, and got big help from Carlos Boozer whom chipped in with 18 points and eight rebounds. Dwight Howard led the Lakers in scoring with 21 points, but only grabbed four rebounds in the 96-77 loss. Kobe chipped in with 18 points and six assist as only three Lakers scored in double figures.

Chicago capped off this three-game stretch with a narrow win over the Detroit Pistons. Carlos Boozer scored 21 points and grabbed six rebounds. While Derrick Rose scored 17 points, and dished eight assist to win their 21st straight game. Five Pistons scored in double figures, while Rodney Stuckey led the team in scoring with 16.

Bulls next update will be a four game update to close out the month. With the trade deadline approaching and the All-star game nearing excitement is looming around the NBA.

Streak Halted at 21.
Bulls close month with 2-2 record in final four games.

Pic: Tony Allen flies to the basket.

Chicago, IL. --- Very odd week for the Chicago Bulls as they dropped two unlikely games to the Golden State Warriors, and the Charlotte Bobcats. The Bulls looked very bad against the Warriors and showed a weakness that had been lacking all season guarding the perimeter. Chicago struggled to defend the three, and it showed as the Warriors hung 125 points on the number one defense in the NBA.

Chicago followed that performance up with a much needed win over the Washington Wizards. Despite winning the game by only a point, Chicago showed that in close games they can manage to pull out the win. Joakim Noah cleaned the glass well in the game grabbing 10 rebounds as he is still trying to push to make the all-star game for the first time in his career.

The Bulls would fall again a couple nights later to the Charlotte Bobcats. Reggie Williams and Ben Gordon fueled the third quarter run for the Bobcats that eventually led to their push to victory as they combined for 40 points and hit five three pointers. Rookie Michael Kidd-Gilchrist chipped in with 11 points and 12 rebounds as the Bobcats defeated the Bulls in Chicago despite a 29 point first half.

Chicago refocused as they closed the month against the Milwaukee Bucks. They went on to blowout the Bucks by 22 points in Milwaukee led by Derrick Rose's 17 point, nine assist night. Bulls got a big lift from their bench who was led by Kirk Hinrich, and Jimmy Butler. As they combined for 17 points off the bench. Butler also grabbed eight rebounds in his 19 minutes of action. Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau has found a good role for Butler in the rotation that will see him and Marquise Teague getting increased minutes in the very near future.

Bulls shake off slow start to month to head to all-star break with 4 game win streak.
Bulls make no moves at trade deadline; they have nucleus for title run.

Pic: Boozer exploded against the KG-less Celtics in Boston.

Chicago, IL. --- Just 11 wins shy of last seasons win total the Bulls sit at 39-13 heading to the all-star break. The Bulls core had their ups-and-downs over the course of this recent six game stretch as they lost back to back games for the first time since November.

Carlos Boozer, Joakim Noah, Derrick Rose, and Luol Deng did get things together as they closed the stretch with a four game winning streak over San Antonio, Denver, Boston, and Utah. Three of those four being playoff teams, those wins meant a lot after the Bulls fell to the 13-38 Atlanta Hawks early in the month.

Each star contributed individually in big games down the stretch with Carlos Boozer capping it off with a 27 point, 10 rebound night in Boston. Boston whom was playing without Kevin Garnett couldn't find the groove defensively to stop Chicago in their 39th win of the season.
