November 8, 2013 - Practice

MB: Alright guys, we're going to test out some you guys to see who will play more and who'll start, so we will have some 5v5 Practice, and some Shoot Around.

*an hour after*

Alonzo Gee: Ahhhh!! AHHHHH!!! AHHHHHH!!!!

MB: What Happened?

Alonzo Gee: I don't know, my leg hurts alot after I fell down!

*The Trainer quickly runs to Gee*

Trainer: Oh man, it looks like a Torn Hamstring!

MB: Well, how long will the recovery take?

Trainer: It will take 6-8 weeks for Gee to heal.

MB: What?! This is practice, we can't lose him for that long, we have only played 3 games in the regular season.

*Gee exits the practice facility*

MB: Guys, Gee has been injured, I know it's bad. I want someone to replace him, I'm looking at CJ Miles, Ellington, and Morris.

*Miles, Ellington, and Morris all get excited*

MB: Well, I'll have to think this through, it'll be tough, we'll have to go small ball.

*Players are done practicing, they go back home*

Morris: (talking to himself) Man, I really want to start to replace Gee. I feel like I can, I feel so pumped. I want to show coach that I can do better here than in the Lakers!

*Mike Brown wakes up at 2 am*
*Mike Brown calls Darius Morris*

MB: Hello?

Morris: YO! Who is calling right now?!? I'm sleeping!

MB: Darius, it's coach Mike Brown.

Morris: Oh sorry, what's up?

MB: Look I was dreaming at night, and I felt you could really replace Gee in the starting lineup, I really gave a lot of though into it.

Morris: Nice, thanks Coach.

MB: Don't get too excited, today (November 9) is game day, so at morning I want you to come the earliest at the arena.

Morris: OK I'll come at 3 PM

MB: Nope, you have to come at 9 AM, and show me you can start, you can get breaks in between to rest.

Morris: Ughhh, OK fine, I'll show up.

*November 9 at morning*

Morris: Well what do I do?

MB: Just practice on passing, shooting, defending and do drills.

*Meanwhile at 6 PM, 1 hour before game time*

MB: Wow, I have been really impressed with you! I will start you at SG tonight, shifting Waiters to SF.

Morris: Wow, thanks coach.

MB: Remember if you do bad this game and one after, I won't let you start.

Morris: OK Coach, I'll try my best to get out there, and WIN!

MB: Thats what I am talking about!

*7 PM - It's Game Time and announcers are announcing starting lineups*

Kevin Harlan: Kyrie will start at the point, Darius Morris will start at the SG, wow! Waiters will be at the SF, Thompson at PF, and Varejao at C. How do you think about Morris starting, Doris?

Doris Burke: Well Kevin, Mike Brown told me that he was impressed by Morris in practice, and that Brown knew Morris could do good, Morris is known do be a good On Ball Defender.

POST GAME: Mike Brown's views on Darius Morris

Reporter: How do you think Darius Morris played tonight?

MB: Oh man he is a monster at Defense! He limited Paul George to 3-11 Shooting, and Morris is 5-6 inches shorter than George!

Reporter: How about him offensively?

MB: He is OK offensively, you know, he had 11 pts. He is a pretty good shooter. He's a good passer, too, he had 4 assists along with 2 steals. I can see this guy as a future star.

Reporter: Will he keep starting for you?

MB: Definitely, he will stay at the 2 guard spot. If he suddenly takes a hit and struggles, I'll look to start someone else.

Sources: DeMarcus Cousins requests trades from Kings.

(Chris Broussard) - Nothing is new that Cousins wanted a trade, but he actually made it really clear to the public that he wants a trade immediately. The 2013-14 season has barely started and so far Kings are not doing good or bad in the season under new-coach Malone. Malone already knew he wanted a trade, due to him not showing up in practice, team meetings, etc. He even got fined a couple times for arriving late on game days. Three teams interested in the Center are the Bobcats, Cavaliers, and the Mavericks. More information will be on ESPN. Tune in soon.
