Barrett: "We are building from the ground up."

southernjagsbball.com- In Barrett's post game conference after this brutal blowout suffered at the hands of SMU. Southern was beat not only point-wise, but in every statistical way possible.

Barrett was ashamed after the game and the first thing he said when he approached the podium was, "The defense has made no improvements and we just weren't hitting shots we should of, there is skill on this team, but we are building from the ground up here in Baton Rouge.".

Southern has several major problems roster wise. They have no true center at the moment and no true leader. They have young players, but they don't seem to really have any potential.

Barrett will have to be the ring leader of this circus, and do some great things fast if he wants to see any postseason action.
