Re: Feel the Burn | Rookies of the Next Gen

As the draft nears, players get anxious...

"Can't wait. I'm literally shivering in my shoes. #1 baby. Here I come" - Mike Cliff

"I can feel it. I have to get picked before my bro" - Peter Stone

"This draft is MINE. I'm the star!" - Shane Allen

"Man, If I can get on the Raptors, that would be ideal. Only Canadian city, I'll have all of Canada watching me!" - Vic McLeod

Interview with Sammy Stone

Alex Rodriguez, The Times
Sammy, How does it feel to go up against your brother in the NBA draft?

Sammy Stone:
Feels amazing. Ever since we were kids, we were competitive. This is a whole new level.

Sharron Rodgers, The NBA Daily
You're projected in the lottery, thoughts?

Sammy Stone:
Hey, as long as I'm picked before Peter, I'm happy.

Tom Warren, The Sun
What do you think about Shane being projected number 1, and why aren't you there?

Sammy Stone:
Well, He's an amazing player and amazing guy. We talked a bit before... I hope he does well. The first pick is Philly, and honestly... they already have some stars... no room to grow. So I wish him the best being #1. I feel like if I wasn't sick with the flu on scout night, my game would have been alot better.
Thanks everyone, time for the draft. No more questions.

Re: Feel the Burn | Rookies of the Next Gen

Interview with Ben Daley
Simon Pratt: How did it feel to get picked last out of all the watched rookies?
Ben Daley: At least I made it.

Tom Donovan: Hopefully you'll make the team, and not just a bench warmer...
Ben Daley: Yes... that would be nice

Sandy Newman: A lot of people thought you wouldn't be drafted. Thoughts?
Ben Daley: Just proved them wrong. Watch me on the court

Interview with Mike Cliff
Matt Daniels: Wow! #1. You stole the show, blew Shane right out of the water! How do you feel?
Mike Cliff: Speechless! I don't know what to say. This is a great honor!

Laura Simpson: You are playing alongside Evan Turner. How will you see yourself fit in?
Mike Cliff: I'll have to out-play him. Simple
