"The quality of our roster just doesn't stack up on paper with the rest of the league. We need more talent added to this team and it needs to happen sooner rather than later."

"With where we picked him in the draft, I want to see at least 26 minutes a game from Nerlens Noel."

"I'm not blind to the state of this team, so I'm not expecting anything crazy like a Championship. Nonetheless, I would like to see us win at least 19 home games this year. Is this something you can promise?"

Noel medically cleared; set to debut vs. Bucks

PHILADELPHIA -- 2013 No. 6 overall pick Nerlens Noel is finally expected to make his NBA debut this Saturday night vs. the Milwaukee Bucks. Noel was once considered the top prospect in the draft and was expected to go No. 1 to Cleveland. However, Noel suffered a torn ACL in his lone college season and was forced to miss the remainder of the year, forcing teams to shy away from the big man.

Nerlens Noel didn't have to wait that long from his once projected No. 1 overall spot, as he was drafted No. 6 overall to the new-New Orleans Pelicans. Noel didn't last long in New Orleans, as during a draft day trade, Noel was sent to Philadelphia in exchange for All-Star guard Jrue Holiday.

"I'm just anxious to finally get back on the court," said Noel. "I'm truly blessed to be in this position and to be apart of this growing organization. I love Philly and I want to call it home for me. My man Mike (Michael Carter-Williams) told me, 'Nerlens, hurry up. Nerlens, get that leg ready.' It's good now and I'm looking forward to getting back out there."

GM Willie Wright and head coach Brett Brown were reportedly putting together a new gameplan and discussing what lies ahead for the remainder of the season. Wright was available for comment and was quoted, "We're excited to get Nerlens going. As a new GM, he's the kind of centerpiece you want when you're building up a foundation. We have big, big things planned for Nerlens and we're happy to have him along."

The 10-17 Philadelphia 76ers travel to Milwaukee to face the 12-14 Bucks.
