Big Cats, Young Blood: A Bobcats Rookies Dynasty
Bobcats To Start Season With 4 Rookies in Top 6 After going 16-58 the season after setting the NBA record for lowest winning percentage, the Charlotte Bobcats blew it up. Big time. All the Bobcats' top players, except Kemba Walker and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, were traded for high draft picks: "With the second pick in the NBA draft, the Charlotte Bobcats have selected PF Anthony Bennett from UNLV." "With the third pick in the NBA draft, the Charlotte Bobcats have selected C Nerlens Noel from Kentucky." "There has been a trade. The Cleveland Cavaliers have traded the fourth pick in the NBA draft to the Charlotte Bobcats for SG Gerald Henderson and the 19th pick in the NBA draft. Bobcats Acquire Muhammad From Wolves By Richard Thornburg Jr. The Charlotte Bobcats™ have acquired rookie shooting guard (SG) Shabazz Muhammad form the Minnesota Timberwolves™. The Bobcats sent Ben Gordon and Ramon Sessions to the Timberwolves in return for the sweet-shooting UCLA grad. Muhammad is expected to start at SG for the new-look Bobcats, who have three other top-5 rookies on their roster. |
