Re: Coaching Career of Matt Grahoben (DDS CB2)

Hartford (0-1) @ Fordham (1-0)

1st Half
19:04 HART 2 FOR 4
Ryan Malloy already with two fouls.

14:41 HART 10 FOR 11
First media timeout and we are playing well overall. Honeycutt has 6, and Daniels has 4.

11:43 HART 16 FOR 17
Torraye Jarmond quickly scores 4 points off the benc, but Fordham's shooting guard PJ Ray already has 13 of his own.

10:28 HART 16 FOR 19
For the second straight game, House gets into foul trouble.

7:43 HART 20 FOR 28
Turnovers continue to haunt us, as we have 6 compared to just 1 for the Rams.

3:10 HART 32 FOR 37
After calling a timeout, we score five points in a row and draw a charge, getting us back into the game.

Halftime HART 39 FOR 43
We've been staying close all game, but we have still not taken a big lead. J.D. Boston leads us with 9, while PJ Ray has 19 for Fordham.

2nd Half
19:30 HART 39 FOR 43
In just 30 seconds House and Malloy each pick up their third fouls.

17:52 HART 45 FOR 44
After four made free throws from Dan Daniels, we take the lead.

11:41 HART 49 FOR 48
Both teams are having a lot of trouble making shots, and we still hold a small lead.

9:33 HART 51 FOR 53
Ryan Malloy picks up his fourth foul, as Fordham regains the lead.

8:00 HART 56 FOR 55
A three by House and a fast break dunk by Boston gives us the lead, but Boston commits his first foul of the game.

5:49 HART 58 FOR 59
We force plenty of missed shots, but Fordham grabs three offensive rebounds and eventually draws a foul.

3:24 HART 63 FOR 67
After trading some baskets, Fordham turns the ball over, causing the final media timeout.

1:40 HART 63 FOR 69
House fouls out, and Fordham gets to shoot the 1-and-1.

1:17 HART 63 FOR 71
After missing a shot, we knock the ball out of bounds.

0:51 HART 65 FOR 73
For some reason Ryan Malloy intentionally fouls PJ Ray for his 5th foul of the game.

FINAL HART 65 FOR 75

We shot the ball better than them (46% to 43%), but we had more turnovers and less shots at the free throw line, which is why we lost.

Notable Performances:
J.D. Boston 5-8 FG, 11 PTS, 7 REB
Dan Daniels 5-11 FG, 14 PTS, 4 REB

Re: Coaching Career of Matt Grahoben (DDS CB2)

Hartford (0-2) @ Memphis (0-1)

1st Half
15:36 HART 7 MEM 9
Offensively, we are playing very well, but we are having a lot of trouble making stops on defense.

13:15 HART 7 MEM 14
Memphis is now on a 14-2 run, and their zone defense has been great, forcing 3 turnovers already.

9:59 HART 13 MEM 20
Richard Judd and Vegas Phipps sub into the game, and account for all of our points in the last 3 minutes.

8:17 HART 16 MEM 26
The Tigers score two threes in a row, but Richard Judd answers with a three of his own.

5:43 HART 16 MEM 31
Danya House turns the ball over for the fourth time, so I send him to the bench.

0:23 HART 21 MEM 35
After a long scoring drought, we make the game closer with a Ryan Malloy layup and a three from Richard Judd.

HALF HART 21 MEM 37

2nd Half
18:05 HART 21 MEM 43
Memphis opens up the half with a 6-0 run, so I use our full timeout in hopes of getting back in the game.

14:20 HART 28 MEM 47
Jason Honeycutt enters the game and quickly scores 5 points, but the Tigers add to their lead with more second chance points. They now have 11 offensive rebounds.

11:47 HART 30 MEM 55
I fill our lineup with bench players, because they have actually outplayed the starters this game.

8:01 HART 34 MEM 60
Although our bench players aren't scoring much, they are rebounding very well.

3:28 HART 49 MEM 70
Justin Bremer has hardly played this year, but he now has two dunks and a three in this game.

FINAL HART 57 MEM 76

I'm obviously unhappy that we lost, but the second half was very good for us. We were only outscored by 3, and we had many players step up to play well. I learned a lot about some of our players in this game, and some could start receiving more playing time.

Notable Performances:
Richard Judd 4-5 FG (2-2 3pt), 10 PTS, 5 REB
Justin Bremer 4-5 FG (1-1 3pt) 9 PTS,
Jason Honeycutt 3-4 FG (2-3 3pt), 8 PTS, 2 REB
