Born Ready throws down the breakaway jam.

Stephenson, Pacers Narrowly Defeat Cavaliers 107-104

Recap | Box Score | Highlights

MVP: George Hill. Hill did a little bit of everything in the win finishing with 19 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assist, and 5 steals. Hill's pesky defense also forced Irving into multiple offensive fouls which kept him in foul trouble.

LVP: Paul George and Dion Waiters.. All-star Paul George went 5-of-21 from the field finishing with 16 points. The Pacers would have lost this game if Hill and Stephenson didn't step up like they did. Waiters also had a terrible game shooting the ball (4-16). It also didn't help that he took a game high 10 three pointers.

X-Factor: Lance Stephenson. Stephenson led the way for the Pacers with 19 points on an effective 8-14 shooting. He was the spark the Pacers need to get the win.

Rookie Watch: Anthony Bennett. Bennett's production has dropped since being added to the starting lineup. Seeing this, coach Mike Brown only gave the rookie 15 minutes in the loss as Bennett scored 4 points and grabbed 4 rebounds.

Player of the Game: George Hill

Cavaliers Clinch Playoff Berth

The Cleveland Cavaliers became the 3rd Eastern conference team to lock up a playoff spot joining the Indiana Pacers and Miami Heat.

The Cavs, who haven't been to the playoffs since the departure of LeBron James, have the 3rd best record in the East (43-32) and the 7th best record in the entire NBA. The team has been led by All-star point guard Kyrie Irving who has turned into a true superstar. Irving is 5th in the league in scoring, 7th in assist, and shooting over 45% from the field and 40% from three.

With only 7 games remaining before the playoffs, the Cavs are hoping their hot streaking continues down the stretch to secure a top 4 seed which mean home court advantage int he first round.
