Tryouts: Day 2

Coach Lindsted walks in at 5:59 P.M. "I'm glad everyone's here on time. Just like yesterday start with 10 Laps of sprints..."

Anthony Sherman this time is beaten by Lourawls Nairn, but barely.

"Today will be a strictly defensive day with some fundamental practice and scrimmaging. I also want to introduce you to the JV Coach, Terry Barker.
We will begin practice everyday, whether you play Varsity or JV with 2 laps of slow defensive slides. Keanu, come here and demonstrate."

"Yes Coach."

"You see how he has his arms and hands up, his back straight, and he is low to the ground? That's what i wanna see. So get started."

Coach Lindsted had the players do a variety of defensive drills before scrimmaging.

"Nice effort boys, looks like we have some decent defenders out here. Now it is time for what you all have been waiting for. We will have 4 teams of about 5 or 6, Keanu, Lourawls, Ruben, and Nathan will be pickers. We will scrimmage all day tomorrow and these teams will stay the same so choose wisely."

Notes on each team:

Team Keanu:
A young backcourt, with a high-powered front court that can score. And Rob Ford....

Team Lourawls:
Two Freshman big-men with Three Seniors at the 1, 2, and 3. Lourawls to Debo will work all day. Should be able to score and defend easily.

Team Ruben:
The most underrated scrimmage team, Sherman and Ruben and Alex should be able to score, while Moataz and Jerry both can defend.

Team Nathan:
Alot of talent within this roster, and a good backcourt leader in Roman and a great all-around wing player Nathan. Adam and Nuka can score, Nuka can Rebound. Dontae' is another all-around player. A good all-around team here.

"Start with the usual guys!" Yells Coach Lindsted as he is preparing his clipboard.
"Today is all scrimmaging so work your a**es off today!"

Coach Lindsted decides to have every team play each other once and then put them in a 4-team tournament with seeds 1-4.

* Coach Lindsted and Coach Barker will referee the games
* Two Games will take place at once
