It was all the same to Oren, he knew a lot of teams were interested in him, but he found it hard to be interested in many teams when they kept repeating the above statements.

His mind flipped in and out of the conversation, sometimes trying to read between the lines of the questions, other times mechanically answering them. Every GM, or director of player personnel, was the exact same: open with that salvo, and ask a few questions about his personality then leave.

But it was worth it. In two days, one of these men would give him the chance to get away from what had happened, to let him start anew with something he loved.
