With the entire league shocked with the commissioner's announcing that there would be an entire redraft, the Cavs see this as their chance to take the lead. They are given the 7th pick in the draft.

1st Round: Kyrie Irving Kyrie was the obvious choice here. A young PG to build a team around, any coach could not have ask for a better player to start a new period in a team's history with.

2nd Round: Lance Stephenson We are obviously drafting for youth here in Cleveland. The second round pick going to the 22 year old SG. After a few years the entire league can expect the Cavs to have one of the most dominant back-courts in history if everything falls their way.

3rd Round: Kenneth Faried Yet another young guy. At only 23, Kenneth Faried was the 3rd pick made by the Cavs in the redraft of the league. This will be the first piece of the big men in Cleveland.

4th Round: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist A player who cannot even legally drink yet, the main question with him is maturity. Can he make it succesfully in the NBA? It looks like the Cavs are giving him a shot, hoping he will be able to pull through for years to come.

5th Round: Jordan Hill To complete the starting lineup at center is the 6'10" big man. Cleveland believes he has the potential to one day become a star in the NBA and dominate the paint.

6th Round: Maurice Harkless

7th Round: Shane Larkin

8th Round: Bismack Biyombo

9th Round: Evan Fournier

10th Round: Jan Vesely

11th Round: Marquis Teague

12th Round: Giannis Antetokounmpo

The Cavs have released their depth chart heading into the regular season. The head coach - Mike Brown - wanted it to be known that for the PG and SF position, while there are 3 people at each position, it is not set in stone. These spots will be interchanged thorughout the season depending on each players performance. That being said, the starters are virtually set in stone - save injury and hot/ cold streaks discerned by Brown - and will remain this way until next pre-season's evaluation.
